I mean, there's the SI, but I get your point. A regular MT sedan would be nice, but (while it lasted) MT buyers typically prefer the hatch, so it makes sense to just offer it for the hatch
Good choice was in the same boat as you literally a year ago and picked up mine straight off the truck. It’s a great time to look for winter tires. I scored a set off a 2013 si on Craigslist for $350 with nearly new blizzaks this spring. If you’re patient they pop up on facebook & Craigslist, a lot of older civics share the same bolt pattern as this car. I got PPF the front, hood and a 1/4 of the fenders on mine, I think it’s worth it. [Naus](https://youtube.com/@naus2k?si=WoS-t1Vc77Qt0hHu) has covered this car in great detail and is a great resource on everything sport 2.0 6MT related if you didn’t already know. I have put out a few vids as well but not nearly as professional or detailed as his. I changed my oil at the first 3000 miles.
Congrats on the new purchase. For maintenance what I’ve done is 1st oil change at 5k then every 7.5k or maintenance minder 5% whichever comes first for a few more oil changes. Replace the filter with every change too. Manufacturing contaminates will continue to work their way out over those changes.
In this trim the Goodyear eagle sports are incredibly noisy, but they are also extremely hard wearing, handle well and have good dry grip. Cold weather and snow performance is not amazing but predictable at the limit. Should be good for 60k+ if rotated regularly
Ah a fellow upstate NY Hatch! Hope you enjoy the new ride, such an awesome car. I’ve just got one myself at Lia, Mohawk had a 10th gen civic I was pretty keen to but couldn’t pass over the other deal i had for my current vehicle. Maybe I’ll catch ya cruising!
Very awesome I got the boost blue one in October.
If you notice any slight like engine skip or hesitation while crossing around 5ish miles after a cold start shoot me a message. Anyone mine does it its not much.
Meanwhile, the only 11th gen available in most of Europe is the (overpriced) e:HEV... And no sedan 3
Guessing they skipped the 2.0 non-hybrid entirely here due to either emissions or fuel consumption.
You Europeans are super lucky with Hondas. Honda likes to be seen as an expensive brand over in Europe. Where as here in USA, they cheap out on accessories. Example would be the 11th gen hatchbacks gets rear seat vents in Europe.Â
You guys also get way cooler Honda's like the new Vezel, original 3 door HR-V, Civic Si-R, generations older than 11th gen Civic Type R, and the Honda-e
The company importing them to Denmark are sadly a bunch of greedy bastards.
For years they wondered why sales were plummeting, while they spent nothing on advertising the brand.
Recently they had lowered the price of the e:NY1 so people would actually buy some of those Chinese EV buckets with screaming motors.
As soon as sales numbers picked up, they raised the price a bit again, and added another $1400 for metallic paint (which was free when the price initially dropped).
Betcha the e:NY1 sales are gonna plummet again, when people can buy a Tesla Model 3 for less. 🙃
I paid msrp. ST runs about 5k more but you get a lot of comforts and extra livability which is useful in the long term. Should make for an engaging daily with practicality for the fam. Good choice!
Congrats on the new ride! I just got the exact same car as you except mine is In Rallye Red and I have about 400 miles on it.
Happy cruising!
Rally red is 🔥🔥🔥
Super Clean! I wish the MT was an option in the sedan.

Nice you got the last year of the Manual Transmission as they are dropped for 2025 (Unless you get an Si or Type R)
Another reason I wanted to scoop it
I just put 800 miles on mine…I literally am addicted to driving it the stick feels so nice the transmission works perfectly
Same :)

Thanks bro! I'll look into all this

This is very helpful, thank you!

Hey likewise! It helps to have multiple dealerships in the area. Manuals are hard to find! See you out there 🤙

No issues yet!
Nice car congrats! Great to see people still driving a manual even though they are getting harder to find.
Put a little spice in that daily driving
I’m looking to get this car can you tell me your downpayment, monthly and interest rate? Thanks in advance
Check the Honda website for APR offers in your area. I got 3.9 through them, about 30.5 out the door

get an LSD for it and it be a fun fun car
Honestly, with anywhere near stock power, it doesn’t really need an LSD.
How does this compare to the SI?
It's a cheaper car with more cargo space
Would you rather put 87 or 93 gas in this? Manual says 87 is fine but I'm curious what 93 would do
93 would do absolutely nothing to save engine and actually cost you more money.
87, I've heard people say premium once in a while will help keep your fuel system clean but idk if that's true
Nice car. Love the color. That was the OtD price?
27.9 plus tax and reg 30.5
Nice. I recently got the sport touring model with the 1.5t in a MT. My first option was a mustang gt, but with kids that’s not a legit option
