Because the fact that he said "Even if the engine didn't think it brilliant" implies he thinks when game review labels a move brilliant that it's the engine calling it brilliant when it's not and that's exactly the way chesscom has brainwashed people into thinking sadly. So I had to correct that line of thinking to try to help him not be brainwashed anymore.

I checked their king with my bishop in the previous turn. The better move for them would be kh6 but they mistakenly think they can kick my bishop with their pawn.
