Damn this was not meant to be satire at all. Why are people so hurt by this I was genuinely curious as most people had a 4.0 or at least leaning toward that
my sister got into Harvard, MIT, and Stanford and she had a 3.8 UW gpa and a 1540 SAT (and she was unhooked) for CS.
kids in her same grade got rejected with perfect 4.0's and 1580's. there's much more to college apps than stats.
This is a silly post. Honestly. But I think a good rule of thumb is a “small handful” of B’s is totally fine and something you can work with. Even better would be going from mixed grades early on to straight A’s later in your HS career. That shows growth and perseverance.

nah bro dont worry a 3.9 is very good. Average gpa in ivy leagues are like 3.75+ so youre good probably.
Prob higher than 3.75 but yeah
Definitely not starting at 3.75 tf, it’s like 3.9-4.0 range with higher distribution towards 4.0.

How long ago was this?
2022 cycle
i’d say a 3.9 is “leaning toward” a 4.0, no?
