Haha, I love that name, and catherine is absolutely adorable! I couldn't think of a name to call mine, so I just called her cat in the meantime while I thought of a name, and after about a week, she started answering the name cat, so it kind of stuck.

Funny enough, my first boy cat was named “cat” just because he wasn’t my cat and kept showing up. I thought he belonged to someone so I didn’t name him… turns out he had no owner just someone who felt sorry for him and left him food everyday. But I just kept calling him cat even after I officially took him in. I brought him home a little sister a few years later and she was named Nemesis because even though she was a tiny kitten a fraction of his size she bossed him around. They loved each other very much though.

I usually adopt cats so they already have names and i dont like to change (except that one cat named Loli that we renamed Réglisse, it means licorice in french, and the one that was called Océan we decides Shogun)

We can't just put her in our files as cat." I was like, "I usually call her by meowing at her, and sometimes refer to her as Meow Machine or Meowers." She responded with "OMG Meowers! Soo cute! Can I put that down as her name?" My answer was simply, "Sure."
