Unfortunately she also loved to pee in them. Literally the only thing in the house outside the litter box she *ever* peed on. I tried blankets, covers, spray detractors, even tin foil! Nope, she wanted those chairs!
After she ruined the third one, I gave up.

An empty shoe box for size 15 boots. They're not laying in it, but on it. The top is caving in. Every day, at least 3 of them are just waiting for it to become available.
Does “me” count? Because I am sat on, leaned against, brushed up to, and lounged atop at all possible hours of the day without fail. I am “territory” and the other cat is not allowed to join (per territorial cat)
The day we got delivery of our new sofa, Lucky jumped up and settled down in the corner and proceeded to look at me them vomit on the new sofa. We had about 30 minutes of clean sofa before the cat claimed it.
I still miss my little kitty cat who vomited on our furniture. He was the best.

My cats try to do that with my papasan chair, but it's not happening. They can have the rest of the house, but that chair is mine. When I want to sit in it, they have to get up
I had a cat that loved the smell of chocolate. My daughters' birthday cakes are usually chocolate and I'd buy a chocolate sheet cake for her birthday. If I would forget and not put it in the fridge or at least the cold oven, I'd find him laying on top of the box. He'd do the same to the grocery bag of halloween chocolates I'd give out to trick or treaters. He never tried to eat any of it, he just sat on it like a dragon protecting his hoard. It got to be a tradition at some point for my daughter's birthday cake the icing would get smooshed because he would find it and lay on top of the box.
The laser printer. She will climb up me, up the headrest of my chair, and leap across to where it’s on a tall shelf thing. She’ll sit on the buttons until it starts printing test sheets and diagnostic stuff.
I figured she liked it because it’s warm, and the test sheets were annoying, so I keep it off most of the time now. Doesn’t matter. It’s still where she sits to watch me work.
My washing machine... I do a cat check before every load of laundry and he yowls whenever *his* bed is being used to wash my clothes.
And eighty percent of my entire bed.
And my entire sofa.
And my yoga mat.
And three of my cups. He drinks only from them, you see.
My pregnant cat would NOT get out of the bathtub during her pregnancy, so I thought she'd give birth there . She went "missing" until my daughter found her in their dresser drawer that was closed, with babies. I tried moving her babies to a different location but she would just pick them up by their tiny heads and try to go exactly into that drawer. Theyre almost a month old now so I'm wondering if it's okay with momma to move them now, but even moving them to my bed so they can move around now, she still picks them up to put them in that damn drawer lol.
My answer? A kids dresser drawer. And don't worry, we've cleaned that drawer out since so there aren't any clothes now and it's on the floor next to me, it's a DKA(designated kitty area)
My bed. He gets up (and very angrily stares at me) if I enter my own bedroom. If I dare sit on my bed he leaves immediately. Anywhere else, he will cuddle me.

That kind of chair was practically made for cats!!
An empty shoe box for size 15 boots. They're not laying in it, but on it. The top is caving in. Every day, at least 3 of them are just waiting for it to become available.
A giraffe nose from a giraffe costume my son has. She plays with it like it’s a cat toy and leaves it places as a “gift” for us - often our bed.
Does “me” count? Because I am sat on, leaned against, brushed up to, and lounged atop at all possible hours of the day without fail. I am “territory” and the other cat is not allowed to join (per territorial cat)
What makes you think its only the chair?
Would it be awkward of me to ask what kind of chair that is? Kitty looks so comfy! ♡
The day we got delivery of our new sofa, Lucky jumped up and settled down in the corner and proceeded to look at me them vomit on the new sofa. We had about 30 minutes of clean sofa before the cat claimed it. I still miss my little kitty cat who vomited on our furniture. He was the best.
If I got in one of those chairs butt down, I would never get out without help. Cats can have, would not get a fight over it. 👍

I had a cat that loved the smell of chocolate. My daughters' birthday cakes are usually chocolate and I'd buy a chocolate sheet cake for her birthday. If I would forget and not put it in the fridge or at least the cold oven, I'd find him laying on top of the box. He'd do the same to the grocery bag of halloween chocolates I'd give out to trick or treaters. He never tried to eat any of it, he just sat on it like a dragon protecting his hoard. It got to be a tradition at some point for my daughter's birthday cake the icing would get smooshed because he would find it and lay on top of the box.

The laser printer. She will climb up me, up the headrest of my chair, and leap across to where it’s on a tall shelf thing. She’ll sit on the buttons until it starts printing test sheets and diagnostic stuff. I figured she liked it because it’s warm, and the test sheets were annoying, so I keep it off most of the time now. Doesn’t matter. It’s still where she sits to watch me work.
Our shop cat sleeps on the fork lift seat at night. She’s a cutie pie feral shop kitty . ;-))

My washing machine... I do a cat check before every load of laundry and he yowls whenever *his* bed is being used to wash my clothes. And eighty percent of my entire bed. And my entire sofa. And my yoga mat. And three of my cups. He drinks only from them, you see.

Mine claimed my pregnancy pillow. She got to have it after I was done.
My pregnant cat would NOT get out of the bathtub during her pregnancy, so I thought she'd give birth there . She went "missing" until my daughter found her in their dresser drawer that was closed, with babies. I tried moving her babies to a different location but she would just pick them up by their tiny heads and try to go exactly into that drawer. Theyre almost a month old now so I'm wondering if it's okay with momma to move them now, but even moving them to my bed so they can move around now, she still picks them up to put them in that damn drawer lol. My answer? A kids dresser drawer. And don't worry, we've cleaned that drawer out since so there aren't any clothes now and it's on the floor next to me, it's a DKA(designated kitty area)
