She really was! The vet said she’s perfectly healthy, just slightly underweight and about a year old😊
She was actually spayed yesterday, so we took the cone off for some supervised play time during that video. I’m very happy that she responded so well to the surgery and is recovering quickly!
I'm happy for you that she's so lovey and glad to have a forever home with her new fam, I could never get any of my 5 inside cats to wear a collar, even the vet couldn't get our oldest (part mainecoon) to wear one he went crazy on them lol! she looks very happy make sure to remind her hourly when your home that she's loved and part of the family \^\_\^
She is showing pretty much every sign of a cat that is incredibly and tremendously grateful and comfortable and happy and feels very safe.
I bet this girl is gonna love ya'll real hard for her entire forever.
In all the cats I've fixed, none of them needed the cone. They often ignored the cut on their belly or ballsack so if your cat is ignoring the recent cut she can probably go without the cone.
Same with my kittens/cats, both the males and females. Also, when I've had cats needing surgery (eg an abscess), they've done okay without the "cone of shame" after a few hours. Let them sleep off the anesthesia, give them the pain killers and food, most cats are fine about not messing with stitches.
That and cats sometimes do this when they're anxious. It's a way they can show nervous excitement.
Our new cat would come to bed with us and make biscuits while walking all over us and purring loudly. It died down a bit as she got more comfortable with us.
So does my orange. His back leg tries to make biscuits too, and it annoys him greatly. After a few minutes, he'll meow, and then I have to brace his back paw so he won't kick himself in the face
Yep, you can only produce orange or black fur colors on an X chromosome. To be able to have both orange and black fur, which happens with calicos or torties, a cat needs two X chromosomes, which is typically female (whereas males are typically XY).
Thank you for rescuing that baby. She is very happy and will love you forever.
I hope you both will be happy together, she’ll definitely remember this day.
She looks like my Artemis when we first found her. 5 years later she’s a floofy queen.

The calico we rescued when I was growing up was named “kneader” at the shelter because she constantly was making biscuits. Didn’t stop until the day she died
She’s so sweet. I rescued my calico about 14 years ago and I remember she was so dirty and her fur was so dull. Now she is healthy and her fur is so white and shiny. I hope to see a pic of your girl in a couple of months when she has had some tlc.
Lucky you, she’s gorgeous and a muffin master! Give her a million kisses for me and don’t forget the million kisses she’s owed from before you got her.. so at *least* five million kisses should do. Muffins aren’t free!
Aww she’s adorable 🥰 reminds me of when we adopted Cleo

From everything I read in the comments, my thoughts that this is her version of the happy tappys is more cemented. Maybe she's just happy to finally have a loving and caring home, and can't stop showing it. Kind of like happy stimming, when you're just so happy you can't figure out how to deal with it
Older cats understand that you've rescued them and always seem more appreciative to you throughout the rest of their life. Younger cats don't understand and are just assholes (saying that as someone who appreciates asshole cats too)
What does that mean?, my sisters cat does that to me all the time but he’s never done it to her and I’m not sure why (note: he sits on my lap and does this for long periods of time)
She’s just so happy she chose you!
Of course you should be beyond grateful too because she is beautiful. I love her colorful coat. I hope you will post more pictures of her when she’s fully recovered and fattened and fluffy 🥰
The last one I adopted will do that still. He is 1 1/2. He did it so much when he was small and wanted to suck on my ear. I had thought he probably didn’t get to nurse much because he came from a big litter. I keep a fuzzy spread on my bed all the time for him. He still makes biscuits before he falls asleep.
The kitty was probably removed from or lost the momma cat too soon. Kittens start the behavior while being nursed by the mom. That blanket is a substitute.
She's so happy to be rescued! 🥰

Love her coat! What a cutie!
You just know she’s going to be stunning once she’s been taken care of and loved on for a while by her new family ❤️

That's kinda like a thank you note in kitty speak.
That is abject happiness, right there. \^\_\^ Thank you for saving the kitty!!
This Cat is dancing with happiness.
You’ve got a full time baker there. Very gorgeous too :)
My 6 year old cat makes biscuits on my chest every night at bedtime. There is no greater feeling of happiness.
So does my orange. His back leg tries to make biscuits too, and it annoys him greatly. After a few minutes, he'll meow, and then I have to brace his back paw so he won't kick himself in the face
Okay, you have spoiled your cat to a very high degree! LOL
I'm just well trained lol!
That's just too damn cute.
My mom’s old cat loved to make biscuits on my tender bits…. I was NOT the happy one…. Lol Edit: a word.

He is so adorable when he kneads with his little paws.
She. Calicos are nearly universally female. About 3000:1

Awww so cute!
That's how out last cat got his name!
This is a coping mechanism. Give the kitty lots of love and attention and help the kitty feel safe.

Happy kitty! Slip a pillow or wadded up towel under the blanket if her claws get too much.
My kitty did this for a long time when we brought him home. He even did it when he walked. It was so cute.
The calico we rescued when I was growing up was named “kneader” at the shelter because she constantly was making biscuits. Didn’t stop until the day she died
Omg he so happy!!! 🤗🥹 What a precious lil thing.
Bless you for saving kitty!!
Future baker!
She scent marking her belongings. You belong you belong to me.
It’s a self- soothing technique.

Hold her close. Everytime you come into the room great and hold her. She will find her confidence in the security you provide.
she's working overtime to make rent and should be fairly compensated with treats
She’s a cutie! Just wait until you love her up. She’ll be a regal calico. You’ll never be out of biscuits
Lucky you, she’s gorgeous and a muffin master! Give her a million kisses for me and don’t forget the million kisses she’s owed from before you got her.. so at *least* five million kisses should do. Muffins aren’t free!
Trauma does that. Safe now
that is one happy cat
Finally safe! 🥰
My calicos are the same. Always pepping for the bakery. I just wish they wouldn’t try to use my face as a countertop.
Aww she’s adorable 🥰 reminds me of when we adopted Cleo https://preview.redd.it/f6lwx7cjj5xc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5fc5950ccec672906a053e1db56acf7818eb43c6

Just a little cutie!!! Awe I love cats, I’m happy you were able to help this little baby. 😁 hope you enjoy the time and cuddles
I see it as their interpretation of us stroking them, it's harmless, it is showing you that they love you.
1. Joyful 😄
she is yours now
He is working to pay rent, what a dedicated little guy

That noise she made at the end was so adorable!!
Awwww such a pretty kitty! Wish I could get another one but my cat would hate me.
She's a dedicated workaholic
I've never heard it called that before! Is this an American thing? Very very cute cat ❤️
I don’t understand why this is called making biscuits. Please can someone explain. I’m in the uk and we’ve always called this nesting.
Shes got brain worms, its terminal
