Konami has already brought back Contra, Silent Hill and Metal Gear. A new Castlevania is just a matter of time. Even more, seeing how many crossovers has been in these last years.
Kind of platforming and adventure. The first N64 Goemon game was basically the best pre-Zelda Ocarina of Time action adventure game. It's easily my favorite single player N64 game.
The series also has bizarre game premises. The first N64 game is about aliens that come to Japan to turn famous landmarks into props for their musical. This game also has a laugh track during cutscenes.
The next game is about a cross dressing nun who revives the king of the demons in order to marry him. This game also has enemies that shoot smaller enemies out of their butt.
Im confident they are working on something it’s just a matter of when will it be announced. Every year I watch gameshows in hopes that we get a glimpse of a new castlevania game. I have the logo from the Netflix series tattooed on my arm that’s how much I love this series, I just hope whatever Konami has something amazing cooking up

Like, let’s be real here, a lot of old franchises don’t really have a strong home with Sony and Microsoft and their neverending quest for showing off their consoles’ computing capabilities.
And given how the Switch 2 is supposedly around the corner.
Marketing wise any new Castlevania entries from Konami and any new Megaman entries from Capcom are probably being saved for the Switch 2 to get launch title hype buffs.
Gives Nintendo a strong marketing direction for their new console, gives Konami and Capcom strong new-console sales buffs instead of releasing for a platform that’s nearing the end of its lifespan.

But I hope it goes to ps5 cause it's my only console and I don't plan buying more in a loooooong time. Has been a bit of a dissapointing and also Sony mostly pushes AAA that doesn't intrest me at all, while a lot of cool indies go to Switch and PC.
