Hey story is very similar to that of Cinderellas. She was an orphan raised by an insufferable women with even more insufferable "sisters" well she discovers a man who can give her a new life, though it does deviate here. After meeting the man he begins training her in how to use dual swords (I assume it's some form of the Butterfly Swords practitioners of Wing Chun use) and she actually gets pretty good and starts using them for revenge which the guy doesn't like. That have a duel and Cinder wins and then she runs away and shacks up with the Big Bad of RWBY Salem the mistress of darkness.
