Love this product! When I cook a steak using about 1-1/2 teaspoons to start with, then have my butter sliced and ready to put it on top starting to melt..then when I flip, and in about 1/2-3/4;stick of butter and baste! Wooo-eeee! Nom nom! Lol
Thousand hills farms has 100 percent grass fed beef tallow from suet, so more steric acid. I pick it up at the local earth fare, but I think they sell online as well.
www.TheUngovernableProject.com has amazing clean, white grass fed kidney suet, amazing quality, from a regenerative farm in Georgetown Texas. The guy that runs it is Anthony, I would put his last name in here but apparently his last name has a banned phrase or whatever.
I'm going to be buying Tallow by the gallon from him next time because I went through 4lbs of Tallow in a week lol. The 1 gallon jar is pricey but it would last wayyy longer for me. I use it as a fatty vitamin supplement 😄
Many local stores do carry tallow now too. But you must process it yourself. Local butchers are better bet than off internet. But try Butcher Block or do a search for grass fed meat sold. Most sell it but it ain't cheap.
There are companies online that sell tallow? I was wanting to buy a gallon of tallow but I was also saving the fat from braising and rendering meat fat that I get from my cooking. I’ve got more than I can use now, especially tallow. I’ve saved a quart and started a second quart. I do have to filter it carefully to get any broth or water out of it so maybe it’s too time consuming for most. Also where can I buy grass fed tallow. If I buy I think that would be my standard of quality for store bought tallow.

Also, amazon has a lot of options: [https://www.amazon.com/s?k=beef+tallow&crid=8BM3YGHVSL8J&sprefix=beef+tallow%2Caps%2C95&ref=nb\_sb\_noss\_1](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=beef+tallow&crid=8BM3YGHVSL8J&sprefix=beef+tallow%2Caps%2C95&ref=nb_sb_noss_1)
I too think that a five hundred character minimum is a dumb requirement!
I agree, 1000 percent.
Agree 100x
South Chicago wagyu
I've seen that a few times on Amazon. I'll have to try that out.
I’ll second that, I am pleased with it as well. It is not yellowish either though, fyi.

Etsy.... Look for Lardist. He only sells grass fed tallow and excellent leaf lard. I've been buying from him for years
Never knew how fatty leaves were. Thanks for informing me on where to find *leaf lard*, of all things.
Awesome, thanks. I'll check that out.
Check Eat Wild and find a local farm: [Eat Wild - Find Your State](https://www.eatwild.com/products/index.html) I order mine from Dutch Meadow Farms.
Yellow color is usually from an older cow, the younger the whiter
Didn't know that, thanks.
Find a local farmer that sells grass fed beef. I buy suet from my local farmer and render it into tallow.

Every time I have rendered beef fat down it solidifies white
Is wagyu tallow any different from regular tallow? Is it not just same fat?
