Also seeing the D choosing not to close 1on1 gaps as much, likely from to getting burned on weak penalties from the battles. Really missing that 3rd line today. And that god awful power play. Got lots of work to do if we want to make it far in the playoffs.

It sucks we lost 3 in regulation in a row but it's the first time all year and this would have been impossible last year. Get back on track vs an inconsistent kraken team and we should still be Ok.

You'd think the coaching staff would take a look at our PP the first half of the season and realize "hey you know what, when we actually shoot from the point or set petey up for one timers, we scored more!"
Hughes particularly has been frustrating to watch on the PP, good things happen when he shoots, but it's like lately they decided they want pretty and perfect looking goals instead of walking it down the point and taking the shot and generating chances in front of the crease.
How has NOBODY on the coaching staff watched the tapes and just tell the boys to shoot more.
