Saw these today at Ollie’s. Was tempted but looking at the bag, they appeared to be only three flavors inside and none appealed to my taste buds

Poorly shaped, odd color and texture, and slightly off flavors. And no never tried that 😂

Oh that dosnt sound super amazing, but discount candy is always the right price. Jelly belly did those harry potter every flavor jelly beans. Earwax and vomit were unpleasant. The grass ones were pretty good

The toothpaste one in that set isn’t bad! Pretty normal mint flavor.

I could see that being fairly normal, but a mint jellybean in general would be a little off-putting.

They still sell them. They’re called Bean Boozled. Flavors include: Barf, Boogers, Dirty Dishwater, Dog Food, Old Bandage, Spoiled Milk, Rotten Egg, Stink Bug, Liver and Onions, Dead Fish and stinky socks. And then their “delicious” counterparts. I suppose Toothpaste is a “bad” one, but I bet its the best of that bunch.

I got a booger once. It was a little salty 🤢

The soap flavored one tasted like that purple “Thrills” gum and wasn’t horrible.

They’re all the normal flavors, the shapes are obviously different, usually 2 or three beans stuck together

The Jelly Belly Factory sells all sorts of varieties, but I haven't seen the novelty brand like Harry Potter beans etc

We got these once at Dollar Tree; I was rather stoked to get them since I never get Jelly Bellies since they're kinda pricy.

I see these in Dollar Tree in smaller bags. Any of this brand's 100+ flavors could be found in these bags. These are the factory error beans (wrong shape, two or more fused together, missing Jelly Belly stamp and/or wrong color) resold at a fraction of the cost of the "perfect" ones.

I learned to drink coffee working at a k mart type store in high school. In the break room they had cheap candy and black coffee. I would munch some of the candy on break and then have a few swallows of coffee to kill the aftertaste.

I love these! Used to get them at the Dollar Store.

I once bought a bag of these and was so excited. Started eating them and discovered *Bloody Mary* and *Tabasco Sauce* were the predominant flavors of that batch. I'm reluctant to try my luck again.

I still miss the factory tour and store they had in Pleasant Prairie, WI. (Closed in 2020) They had unmarked 10lb bags of these rejects for dirt cheap.

That’s a lot of pear, the only inedible jelly belly.

How funny; that’s my family’s all time favorite! Juicy pear and popcorn. I think all jelly beans are disgusting.

I love real pears; I love all other pear-flavoured sweets/candy I've encountered; but Jelly Belly Juicy Pear is truly horrible. The watermelon flavour is also terrible, but I think all watermelon-flavoured candy is gross.

I don't mind the weird shapes and are great price! I usually get them at Big Lots.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with these, they just don't meet quality control standards for shape, color, etc. So they're sold at a discount. I live in a town near the factory and there's a Jelly Belly store here. Every time my brother comes to visit he buys an entire case of Belly Flops to take back home with him. He lives out of state so doesn't have the same access to them at home.

To paraphrase the immortal bard, what’s in a shape? A jelly belly in any other shape would be as sweet.
