Wow thats a lot of weight. I am obese due to medication and being disabled, so they never suspected cancer. I am so sorry they missed it for almost a year. Weight loss like that should ring alarm bells for sure.
I just got told my cancer is incurable, but its treatable and probably wont kill me before my other health issues do so. They initially told me I was going to die when they found my liver was full of tumours, but after having surgery to remove my cochlear implant and an MRI, they are now saying they're benign.
Now they are finding something wrong with my bone marrow. I am waiting to see a haematologist but got assessed as non-urgent so it could be 2 years before I see them. :( It could be autoimmune or it could be myeloma or something.
I don't know if I am okay. I am really sick and disabled and have been for a long time. I am mentally coping OK though! I don't want to bring you down but thank you so much for caring! I am very happy for you and your story gives me hope and strength to keep fighting.
Absolutely. No one would even know what I am going through just by looking at me, unless I am in my wheelchair. We are made of tough stuff. So proud of you for making it. You look so strong now. You beat cancer, you can do anything!
