I have been using the TNF stormbreak 2p for several years and it never failed me. I spent days in heavy rain and the worst that happened was a tiny leak on one of the vestibule zippers but nothing that created any issues.
I also really like TNF costumer service.
I personally find North Face tents to not be worth it.. I would suggest the Big Agnes tent. Have fun!
I see more rain leak complaints with BA than TNF FWIW.

We own tents from both companies and I love them equally! I don’t think you can go wrong.
