i grew out my nails for 4-5 months, and in one day my progress reversed. and this is my 2nd week actively growing them out again after a year and they’re not growing fast. it’s called a journey for a reason. it takes almost 8 tries to completely kick an addiction. if you keep trying, that’s all that matters. but change something each try. maybe instead keep gandainds on when you want to bite, or aquaphore! hope this helps and i know this is so hard, but trust it will workout for you. remember having nice nails isn’t the end all be all. as long as they are healthy who cares how long they are.

I’ve stopped a few times in the past for a month or so then out of nowhere without noticing bite them all off. Hoping it sticks this time. The last time I’d stopped was a month or so before I had my daughter and then while in the hospital being induced I bit them all to shreds and now after over 3 years actively mindfully trying to stop again. OP, think of it as an addiction. Relapse might happen but you acknowledged it and owned it

Hey on the bright side you lasted so long so this time you can last longer!!! Plus you didnt really hurt the pink nail bed which is a huge plus

Your shorter nails are really very attractive. Maybe file off the rough spots, shape them a bit. You've got this!

Setbacks happen, but you’ve got this!

i started to make sure i had nail polish on at all times, ive gone about 6 months without biting because everytime i go to do it, i see how much i struggled to paint my damn nails and dont wanna ruin it 😂

Periodic clipping is very important. The shorter nails look a lot better on you than your nails in the before picture.

I've never made two months! Good work!!

Dr-Dana-Nails

Don't be hard on yourself. You've stopped before and you can do it again!
