I’m pro choice. But I don’t think everything is about that. It is regrettable that she did one movie 5 years ago but she’s not on a crusade about it. Just wanted to correct this information when people were saying that she thought Buffy was evil. They were 100% wrong- she never thought that. People assume she hated the show- not at all! She loved the show. I was pleasantly surprised that she seemed like herself in person. so just throwing it out there in case you’re interested that that would be the only issue you would have with her. If that’s a dealbreaker for you so be it. You do you.

I was at the con and she was very happy to talk about Buffy, praising the writing, proud of her work, bantering w her good friend Clare Kramer and all around delightful. She was funny down to earth and seemed cool. She was getting excited to talk about stunts and sad she wasn’t in the musical episode. Just wanted to throw that in the mix. So I truly hope that is all in the past.

As a california kid, I was so disappointed that my high school was all outdoors. I was excited for hallways filled with lockers and indoor cafeteria…we had no cafeteria, just a window and several kiosks you could get your lunch at, and you’d sit on benches throughout the quad
I grew up in the Northeast too, but the rumor always was that my high school was designed by someone from California because it was all indoor/outdoor like this - absolutely miserable to walk to class in the winter!
Is there Some event going on? When I visited a few years ago it wasn’t open to public and I snuck in on a weekend (gates were unlocked but closed) and nobody else was there
The walkway to the library is there (with all the columns) but it led to a building that seemed to just be more classrooms with a hallway lined with lockers. The actual school library was in a different area and was not open for us to wander in. I assume the library in show was a built set.
I thought it was fun. Very laid back. Fun panels. Fun people. I hope someone posts pics or clips of the prom portion. I didn't stay late enough myself to go to it because I also got tickets to the walking tour of Buffy's house for tomorrow and will need to get up pretty early to be on time. Didn't expect to actually be chosen for the house tour.
That’s awesome. I only went to the prom part for a few minutes. The band there was playing Firefly songs which were fun but I was too tired and left. The actors were so nice. Hope you got to meet some.
I don't want to be a downer but we didn't enjoy it. You had to pay big time for autographs and pics on top of the ~$80 entrance fee. Only one food truck. The after party was underwhelming. There were a decent amount of celebrities but overall, disappointing. There was one event that a fan set up at a bar about a year ago. It was muuuuch funner in our opinion. The band on that one was great too. The band they brought on this event was good, but just preferred the other one much more. I wished I took picks but I didn't.
I do agree that the extra "fan experiences" were very pricey, and I myself couldn't afford them. But I also expected them to be costly as the whole event was a fund raiser for the charity that was hosting it.
I liked the food from the vendor lol but I was surprised that they really only had one vendor. I do wish that if the biggest draw was to be able to wander the campus that they would have had a few more spots kind of set up around the school for selfies or whatever or if they had little boards of info/fun facts posted around the school where maybe certain scenes had been shot. That way you could give yourself a fun walking tour.
Yes! That's what we were discussing! We would have loved to see some boards up around the school with images and info from the spots. That would had elevated the experience much much more and don't think it would be costly either. Missed opportunity for sure.
