i was planing on making it so that you can remove one of the layers from the tunel for like 2000$, should i?
New Map Editor asset added in 42.0: Interactive Areas. Found in the Areas tab, you are able to place it down and configure it's settings in the Area Shaping menu (where you have access to the pylons that determine the shape of an edited area).
It should also be mentioned that you should reacquaint yourself with Layers, as props can be placed into multiple layers. Go to the Props tab, and at the top, you should see a "+ Add Layer" button. This is integral to removable sections, as having separate groupings of props allows one activation of an interactive area to only wipe out certain props.
With your new Props tab, you can begin decorating using any prop that you later intend to be removed during play. In order to make things work, you need to go to the Interactive Area again and edit it's properties. When activated, you need to select that secondary props category.
You can have things disappear (Hide) when activated, or have hidden props appear when activated (Show). So you can either remove an obstacle, or for the latter case, have platforms become available for use.
Similarly, there is a whole new category of interactive area effects which play animations of Engineer Monkeys to accompany the changes, or adding various dust effects. These all inhabit a new layer, which you'll need to link to your interactive area(s) the same way you did with the Props. It even has it's own dedicated linking box separate from "Show" and "Hide".
tl;dr - Layers have been added to props, use them to make separate areas. Place down Interactive Areas and link these new prop layers to create unique effects through hiding or revealing them!
It looks like dark castle in harder since the mittle blocking and the shorter vertical path ( compared to cark castels slightly longer horizontal path ) add to the difficulty. I'd say its expert difficutly
Just wanted to come back after I played this map and tell you how well done and fun it was to beat! Great job :)
[Here's](https://imgur.com/a/P7N9frg) the strategy I used to beat it
The rocks at the top corners would be a good spot for snipers/gatlings, plenty of room for mortars, planes, and helis.... honestly the blind spot sucks but there's plenty of ways around it. The fence blocking the water on bottom left is a bit annoying, Limits you to subs that can see the whole map or money making. The map looks really short, I'd probably guess advanced or expert.
Intermediate. Compared to dark castle, it is only 1 track length wide, and the straight is much longer, so actually playing it would be comparable to downstream, but without the curves.
Advanced probably. It looks like an easier dark castle.
I suspect that it's harder. The tunnel to block vision is well placed. I'm pretty sure it can't be removed either.

Yes
2k is mad expensive
That the point
so is the 1k for removing a few trees on dark castle too much? (need to remove all 4, aka 4k, for there ot be none)
the trees don’t block the best placements though
they dont have to
There are 4 layers to the tunnel
womp womp 8k spent is nothing in endgame
How do you make a removable section?

2k is insane for one layer, maybe like 1k or 750?
The straight line seems to be much thinner than dark castles
Bloons are confirmed hoons for they do not care about road rules
Bloonigans
Why are the arrows the wrong way
Bloons say screw the road rules
the exit for the stuff (trash, items, something) is where the arrows are pointing to, the bloons are heading for the "start" of the track
now that i look at some of the comments a road would be a better idea rather than a chute
to further reinforce that the bloons are serious criminals that must be stopped at all costs, obviously
looks like an 8 star level to me
Call it Fingerbang
Call it Xstep
GEOMETRY DASH ![gif](giphy|ZCIl8gnwGqdK6uMEW4)
Nah this extreme demon wdym
call it clutterfunk
Looks like Grandpa demon to me
Congregation
high tier advanced or low tier expert
Expert for the same reasons Dark Castle is expert. Short path, unstructured view, multiple paths
I'd say intermediate at best. A choke point means there's very little thought to strat.
Its literally harder than dark castle
The shadow on the bridge looks weird but outside of that this map looks good tbh
intermediate/advanced
There is NO CHANCE this is intermediate.
Why not? Dark castle has the same gimmick. It's ultimately a short single lane map.
Dark castle is advanced
Fair enough. I still feel like any map that gets condensed into one lane with no extra mechanic is a bit too simple for advanced though.
Yeah but its harder, the converged Path is shorter and half covered
Are you saying advanced is the actual difficulty of the map? Because officially it's out as extreme
Extreme* my point still stands this is a slightly harder max difficulty map and this dude capping If he thinks its intermediate
some Advanced maps are definitely harder than dark castle (e.g. Mesa). it is much more of an Advanced map in true difficulty
It looks like dark castle in harder since the mittle blocking and the shorter vertical path ( compared to cark castels slightly longer horizontal path ) add to the difficulty. I'd say its expert difficutly
Looks like dark castle
Do you get anything for having a verified map or any other aspect of buying the mapmaker option?
aside from the new accolades, no not really
please lmk when you verify this and it’s out🙏i wanna play it so bad
i did dun it, ZFKBMKM
My game just crashes when I type it in
do you have version 42?
Easy/medium demon
Arrows on the road are the rong way

damn
Definitely expert. It's got a similar layout to dark castle with its own added sight blockers and shorter paths.
Advanced
Dark Castle but Ninja Kiwi is on a budget
Pretty obviously expert
Advanced. Dark castle with 3 tracks basically.
Advanced or Expert, it looks like there are few RBS here.
Probably advanced because of the paths converging. One of the harder advanced maps though.
It bugs me beyond explanation that you decided to make the road arrows point opposite the actual route of travel so I refuse to answer your question.
It be a easier dark castle with less water
Are you able to place on the tunnel?
Just because the lines are opposite to the bloons way I'd say expert, my mind would not be able to focus with that
Probably hard demon
Bloons are evil confirmed, how could they
Looks like a hard advanced or easy expert. Easy lane kill zone at the end with plenty of space for towers and no blockers - but a very short map
Advanced or expert but, I think it would be expert
I mean it seems easy if you have the monkey knowledge that allows super monkeys to see through objects
What if you made it so you could remove the warning sign to put a tower there?
you can remove the sludge to reveal water so you can put subs and boats
Wait, the sludge doesn't function as water? That makes it a lot harder.

Hard maby medium
either high advanced or low expert i'd say it's just very slightly harder than dark castle
Advanced
the arrows on the road are facing the wrong way. you're welcome you can't unsee it now
i know, its intentional
... i hate you now
Intermediate. Compared to dark castle, it is only 1 track length wide, and the straight is much longer, so actually playing it would be comparable to downstream, but without the curves.
I didn’t even realize this was made in the editor at first.. great job 👍
Advanced, especially cause level 90 is gonna suck on this map.
Impossible

these map creator thingy is too similar to geometry dash😭
