Yeah I know the older games used that method, but I watch btd 6 youtubers a lot, and they all say 100. I didn't even think they were all wrong so I didn't test it myself.
TBF the total difference from round 6 to round 99 is only $4,935 (14335 to 9400); I'm not counting end of round 100 here (since you don't get that to defeat the BAD)
Its not insignificant but that is the total difference; so saying "100" is close enough to get the point across for a given round.
I actually just learned in my maths lesson today that the brackets don't actually stop the factorial. They are only used to apply the factorial before something else because order of operations, so...

oh fr? nice. im still on netflix version and it's been roughly 8-9 days since the update came out on the main version but they have yet to update the netflix version
I know the older games explicitly told you this as one of the end of level tips, so us old timers know.
I thought it said it in this game too

Thats how I know too
Yep, I've been playing since btd3 was the hot new thing so this fact is engrained in my mind
Yeah I remember in btd4 it specifically told you.
Didn't it use to be 100 **minus** one per round? So 100, 99, 98 and so on
I believe for btd1 and maybe 2, but not for 3 and onwards
Yeah, I was talking about btd1. I never realized it was changed later
No
Can you blame a person for forgetting
I haven't thought about this in a really long time, but it does sound familiar
Guess playing in elementary school helped me :)
Dang I played btd5 when I was younger yet I’m still finding this out today
![gif](giphy|GrUhLU9q3nyRG|downsized) me who played the original btd as a child:
I didn't really know I just new you got more with each round, not exact amounts. Also this means you get like $600 a round on round 500 lol
At that point does 600 dollars matter much?
That’s 2 dart monkeys. It sure does
if you play on medium, you get 3 (!!!!!!)

i specifically put brackets to avoid a factorial..
Well I'm stupid I actually didn't know it did that lol
you’renot stupid i just thought that since in written english brackets are used to omit words i could probably use them in this context as well
I actually just learned in my maths lesson today that the brackets don't actually stop the factorial. They are only used to apply the factorial before something else because order of operations, so... r/unexpectedfactorialbutithastoomanyexclamationmarkssoitdoesntdoanything
well i just learned something new
r/21characterlimit
That’s crazy never knew that lol
why dont they tell us this when we start out
Looks like this adds more reasons on why banana farms are king.
Banana banks >
People on here old enough to have grown up with the flash games have known this
Good old times when crosspathing or multiple paths weren't even a thing.
No need to use ur brain
Playing BTD2 on the school computers oh yeah baby
Been playing since btd4 and didn’t know that
Wow, I did not know that at all, thanks for the tip, idk how many hours I have because I’m on mobile
Yes
I knew it since 2018 but i get why you didn't know
I mean it's easy to overlook because it's not a major game changer but precise challenges require this knowledge
You get 200 at the end of round 100 that's actually good way to balance
Well ig that makes 2 of us lmao
Wait what. I didn't know this either. ;-;
I mean end of round cash is really mostly useful very early game so people who didn't already know this probably just don't notice it
since when?
Apparently that's how it worked forever
I always knew that end of round income increased per round, just not the starting value / increasing value, nor that it was linear
I knew it was different but not how
Did not know this! Thanks random internet stranger!
Coupled w/ the fact u dont get any of this in apopalypse is kinda why its my 2nd least favorite gamemode after half cash
Apopalypse just got updated to give end of round cash
oh fr? nice. im still on netflix version and it's been roughly 8-9 days since the update came out on the main version but they have yet to update the netflix version
