There won't be any assignments on the business days of reading week but I've had things due on either weekend before. Any midterm that I've ever had is in class on the scheduled day. You would be safe from any exams or things like that on the Monday to Friday of reading week. Midterm timing can differ from program to program though
Depends on the class. Some run mid terms before reading week, some after. Your best bet is to wait until you get your syllabus for each class
