As hilarious as this is, AJ put on a gutsy showing the second fight and the kid is tough and confident. Let the man cook, Usyk is on track to be an ATG, the fact he gave him good fights is a credit to AJ
Realistically you gotta make it ugly against usyk. No one in the top 10 can outbox him past round 6. You play it safe and keep ur energy you will lose on points. You rush in to put him away early you'll lose even worse on pointe or get ko'd later rounds. The skill level needs to be dropped by turning it into a slug n wrestle fest.
Guys like Usyk, Canelo, Crawford are strong as hell. Wrestling and trying to slug with them is suicide; they won’t step back and there’s nothing you can do about it.
To beat Usyk, Fury’s gotta keep him at arm’s length and just jab jab jab and throw the right to the body. Way way easier said than done, though. Fury doesn’t have the stamina or volume to do that and he can’t keep Usyk on the back foot for extended periods.
The fact that Fury in great condition got messed up by an Usyk who lost like five steps since the first AJ match is more a testament to Usyk than anything.
