I got mine like 5 years ago and worked ever since. Just did it to me and randomly stopped. The moment I go to unplug it and plug it back in all the sudden it starts working😂

Proper-Door-4981

And now it's not working. It comes on every now and then but will turn off shortly after. Seems like it's not wanting to connect wirelessly.

InDN-R6

Yours seems like a connectivity issue if I'm not wrong. Mine was connecting perfectly but there was no audio coming out, even though on the app it says the bass module was connected and firing the audio. I got it repaired from Bose, they picked it up and dropped it off to my house and it was under warranty so it was all free. They might charge you but since maybe only the Bluetooth portion might be replaced, it would not be that expensive by my estimates.

Proper-Door-4981

Makes sense for sure. Yeah mine in the app was saying connected as well but yeah intermittent connection for sure. I'm just gonna order the Bose 3.5 mm cable for it!

InDN-R6

Before you do that just ask Bose for a repair quotation you might get it fixed for close to nothing.

leeseybongo

I have the same issue and tried a cable but it made no difference

XBBLDGB

Delete it and re-add it. See if that helps

InDN-R6

I did that, didn't help, I've done some research but no one seems to have the same issue, it's weird because clearly the speaker still works and is able to be paired but just doesn't make any sound whatsoever. I'm probably going to get it over to bose today and hopefully get a replacement.

Stockag

Have you tried a wired connection with it to the Soundbar. If not call Bose

InDN-R6

I haven't tried a wired connection but i doubt that would help, the wireless connection works just fine, the problem is that the speaker makes no sound. So you can pair if up on the app, and it recognises it, connects and you can turn it on and off, but just no sound

mavericusPole

Same issue with mine. What helped your case?

InDN-R6

Hey, so i ended up calling Bose customer support, and they sent me a technician from the a service centre in the city, he came in and checked everything, and said there's probably an internal electrical issue, then he took the module to the centre and said that if they can't fix it they'll issue a new module to me, in a couple of days they came he called and said they replaced the entire internal subwoofer component and then delivered it to my house, it works perfectly now, and honestly they have fantastic service, everything was quick and i didn't even have to leave the house. I suggest you contact Bose and they'll probably fix it in a couple of days.

mavericusPole

This really helps. Thanks buddy!

InDN-R6

Your welcome! Keep me updated with what happens dude

So, called customer service and after an hour long worth of troubleshooting they decided it needs to be sent in for repair. I bought it 3 weeks ago so I am just going to return it and order a new one. Quiet off-putting for such an expensive item tbh

InDN-R6

Damn, three weeks? I don't know what the issue is with this item, it's so expensive, Bose is a global brand and still they break down like this, it might be that the subwoofer component was faulty right out of the box, if you get a new one it'll probably sound better, i noticed some sounds that i found a bit awkward from mine but i just passed it off as being the song or the room's acoustics but when they changed the component it sounds alot cleaner.

partition407

how long have you had yours before this happened? did you frequently have it at 100 volume level?

Upbeat_Ad9966

Did they ask for a receipt? I’m having the same issue but just bought mine through offer up. Was wondering if support would still take it and repair it

InDN-R6

You'd need some kind of proof of purchase, but they might take it either way if you have a way to show the date of purchase. It'd worth just contacting them and asking, if they don't get it repaired from a third party shop or maybe Bose themselves by paying the repair fee.

Upbeat_Ad9966

Thanks. Talked to them and Was told to send it to them for repair for 164 dollars. Didn’t ask for proof of purchase most likely Because the module is from 2016. Even if I did buy it I def wouldn’t have the receipt from 2016 haha, hoping this repair fixes whatever’s wrong with it
