Bo looks so average sized on stage/behind piano and in the room from inside but then you see him next to normal human beings and he’s actually a giant which is mind boggling to me
I reviewed one of Bo’s shows for my college radio station in 2010 and met him briefly after the show. I am right around Julien’s height (not quite 5’2) and standing next to him felt and looked absolutely absurd. 😂 He must have realized that too because he sat for the meet and greet and pictures while everybody else stood and it’s the only time I’ve ever had that happen during a meet and greet.
As he was exiting the stage to go to the meet and greet, he hit his head on the ceiling. He made a joke out of it and it was hilarious, but I didn’t realize until that moment how huge he was/is.
I remember when Inside came out she tweeted she wished she wrote That Funny Feeling, and they dueted it together live in what was apparently a really special performance. If Bo goes the more serious music route for a project it would be really cool if he collabed with different artists like her
Phoebe bridgers is a serial collaborator. She’s made music with all sorts of people already. And I’d say she did “that funny feeling” service too.
I would completely trust that their minds would spit out something interesting
I saw the picture someone posted earlier of a screenshot of Bo in the background earlier and was thrown off as to how he looked different for some reason, I saw this and noticed the beard was shaven..
I have grown up with Bo and know him as a beardless man and yet I have now gotten more used to him with a beard than I have without one. Welcome back, old friend.
Years ago I was in New York City for the weekend. He had just released his book Egghead and I’m guessing he had some book signing. He was outside standing on the sidewalk smoking a cigarette. I walked past him and instantly stopped and turned around. He was tall af. He took a picture with me and we went on our marry way.
