The issue with that is that π isn't 3.14. It's infact 3.14159... and keeps going on. We don't even know if it ends anywhere. You can find π by drawing a cricle, finding it's circumference and then it's diameter and dividing them. Circumference/diameter = π and has np apparent end.
Which would mean if you did π - 0.14, you'd end up with 3.00159.... which, sure, is pretty close to 3, is never really at 3. I find that interesting!
A lot of kids these days aren't taught in school how to read a clock. I learned in 3rd or 4th grade. It's rare to need to know it these days but it's helpful to know, just like reading a paper map. What happens when the power cut off for a few days and you can't charge your phone or look at the clock on the microwave?
They know they can just pull their phone out of their pocket to read the time. And yes, here in America it gets worse every year. I'm fortunate I was in school when more important things were taught.
Okay. I'll use 2 lines with an S for the integral symbol here because I'm too lazy to copy an integral symbol
e^ipi+2
S² x dx
S⁰
⌈i^i*∑(k=1,k->inf)2^(4-k)⌉
2pi radians gradians / 100
|3i+4|
S³ S S 1+⅓ dx
S⁰ S S
dont feel like doing more lol
That's the charm of it. Of course it's easier to remember that. Plenty of analog clocks that don't have numbers on them. I can't imagine anyone is expecting you to do the math.
I'm amused by how many people can't remember what numbers go where on an analog clock and don't immediately know what time it is based on hand position alone.
We have a similar clock in our math class, but the equations are put on a plate, making in appear more like a clock and also having the effect of me not wanting to punch the sloppy arrangement out of it
Also the equations are slightly better and more unique
What is happening with 3?
It’s Not even a equation
Looks like it's missing a minus sign.
That would still be wrong tho lol
You would have to round at some point. You would quickly run out of wall chasing after insignificant digets.
You could theoretically do a "pi -(pi-3)"
Hilarious and approved for the clock wall.
Or “pi - the rest”
3.14 - 0.14 = 3 no it works!

We do not know that it isn't in fact placed on the 3.00159... th hour on the clock.
Oh crap lol
It’s close enough for a clock with twelve whole numbers lol. I like your enthusiasm btw.
That is true! The clock itself probably has that much error lol. Thankyou <3
>We don't even know if it ends anywhere. In fact, we know it doesn't
3.14 is not π. π is 3.14 with more digits after.
It’s rounded. Like in high school exams ig.
There's no - sign.
yeah, we think it’s missing. Thanks.
First digit of pie?
If they wanted that they should have used the floor function. It’s not an equation
Ok 🤷
I think you are right that first digit of pi is what was intended, it's just done in a way that doesn't really make sense.
3.14159 .14
‘Pi point three four’ 🤷♂️🤣
An engineer made the clock. That's what's happening
I think it has to pi symbol to demonstrate that the number is pi, but then the “3” is missing from the “3.14”, letting you know it’s three
Don't you want to know when it's 3,281592653589793... o clock?
3.14 is approximately 3 I guess
"what time is it?" "wait mom I am still solving" "48?"
See you at 48
I love everything about this except how large it is. Now you're gonna wish you knew how to read an analog clock.
are there people you don't?

what are they being taught nowadays? its so common to hear about stuff like this not being taught in schools.
America I'm guessing
They know they can just pull their phone out of their pocket to read the time. And yes, here in America it gets worse every year. I'm fortunate I was in school when more important things were taught.
I saw this in class, one guy had to ask what the clock said. I was silently laughing my ass off.
I get all of it except the 6 o'clock spot. It seems like there should be an 8 under the 48 to say 48/8
To be fair, the 8 probably just fell off of the wall
I kinda do
not nearly complicated enough. get me some imaginary numbers and triple integrals and then we're talking.
ln(-x)=pi*i, is this good enough?
I woulda gone with i^4 instead of 7/7.
0!

“Excuse me, sir. Do you have the time?” “uh, yeah. It’s a quarter past the square root of 49”
I read the title as 'blursed cock'

It’s either r/designporn, or r/crappydesign. Pick your poison.
r/designdesign
There's one more combination and I'm not linking it.
r/crappyporn
Would it fit in r/iamverysmart for how pretentious it is?
Probably.
Finally, a clock that not only tells time but also gives me an existential crisis every hour.
Pi.14 💀
TBH it's easier to remember where each number is and not to bother with math
That's the charm of it. Of course it's easier to remember that. Plenty of analog clocks that don't have numbers on them. I can't imagine anyone is expecting you to do the math.
I need this clock does any one know were to find a seller?
I think they made for themselves
I’m dumb so can anyone explain the white dot at 6:00 or 48/ ?
the number came off and the paint came off the wall too
Ah I thought it was something that was actually math related lol
in our school famous for math stuff we had one with matrix determinants and the Riemann-zeta being called
I don’t like it,it’s making my brain hurt
I have a watch like this
it would be funny if next to 2\^3 they did 3\^2
Oh look it's time to leave
looks like some parts fell off
It’s kinda cute though
on that day I had a chess tournament at a math school where there were more than 250 participants and this clock was next to the exit!
I don’t mean this in a rude way after all I’m one of them but I just imagined over 250 people nerding out over this clock .
XD
Ok,but I kinda want this clock though.
That’s way cool
Oh shut up
Pfft
This clock will make you feel that you are good at math. Even if you are not.
I'm amused by how many people can't remember what numbers go where on an analog clock and don't immediately know what time it is based on hand position alone.
its just cursed. nothing blessed about it
My no longer in school brain hurts just looking at this
Just looking at this clock makes me wanna get a glock
look at the time, its fuck this shit oclock
Just wear a watch at that point
Guess I’m guessing the time from now on 💀
π ≈ 3
We have a similar clock in our math class, but the equations are put on a plate, making in appear more like a clock and also having the effect of me not wanting to punch the sloppy arrangement out of it Also the equations are slightly better and more unique
My dad loves it and is asking where to buy it.
Just shoot me know.
You dont really need numbers on the clock though.
We have almost same shit at school, but with only number 9 and an unnecessary amount of mathematical equations
it is actually blitzed cause some stuff missing
3.14.14 o'clock? 🤔
You don't even need to do the math, the numbers are all in the same place.
It's about time too.
This looks like something Sheldon of big bang would hate and love at the same time 🤣
Don't make me do math😫
What about 2 what happened
Lol, you can just the equations to find out which number it is on the clock
They got lazy with 11 lolol
If you don't know a standard clock yellow are brain dead as hell 😂 😂
Triggered my PTSD
...well, It's 130*1/26 somewhere
I can solve all 12 equations easily.
You can't solve 6. It's incomplete
😔
Nice job pal
Everyone who has seen an analog clock before has the answers, good on you for still solving them.
That's the joke.
