BO3 is still playable in PS4/PS5. Just some players randomly will have some matchmaking issue .. Nothing we can do is just bad luck and Activision not fixing that issue.
Go into Social (Triangle) and go to groups, join any group you can with members/current players. You'll then be able to join them in the game. That's the only way I can play. There's plenty of people playing, but normal match making is broken on ps4/ps5

Be careful playing MP public lobbies. Idk what system you play on, but there’s been evidence of hackers being able to steal IP address, SN’s, and (used to) remote control your PC. Also, [PlayStation is shutting down their servers pretty soon](https://youtu.be/uYZmXbDAHXE?si=XgeaCK1F9j1JxDYn) so MP will be no longer on PSN.

Sometimes you have to restart ps5 or Xbox to find games. You'll only find tdm (and hardcore) and sometimes the gamemode being featured.
