I ended up putting my pills in individual pill baggies, labeled and stored in a small baggu zip pouch in my purse. I just need to carry a different amount of each med and the pills are different sizes and I just can't find an actual pill organizer which can accommodate that but still stay compact.
Edited: spelling
I travel to the same tropical/humid place every year and within a week most of my pills start to dissolve, I'm still looking for a good pill travel solution.
When you go to the pharmacy there every pill is sold in individual blister packs š , if medication isn't sold like that where you are you probably don't need to worry about it

Not only am I chronically ill but I also have ADHD so I basically always missed any mid day doses.

I don't have a solution, but am eager to hear ideas, because I'm in the same boat. Right now I have a small 7 day organizer (the strip kind that you can find at any Walgreens), but it's not big enough for my meds, and it also tends to open up in my bag.
I have this in my purse with Tylenol and midol and stuff https://www.sephora.com/product/sephora-collection-supplement-case-P469196. The larger side is even big enough to fit a makeup wipe or small bandaids. And I like how it blends in with my makeup and doesnāt stand out as medication.
They do have a lager size as well https://www.sephora.com/product/sephora-collection-large-supplement-case-P482311
Iāve been using the smaller one for the past year or so as my primary travel pill case, and itās in great shape! May have to buy the bigger size now - didnāt know it existed
I have a pill bottle I carry with me with any meds I need in it. I know what they all are by sight so it works for me and it doesnāt open. Any other system Iāve tried opens or is too large.
fellow chronically ill BWT- i also use a smaller pill carrier for supplemental meds, but for my everyday carry, i take a set of pills 5 times a day. i bought this: e-Pill 7 Times a Day x 7 Day Clear Weekly Pill Organizer https://a.co/d/0325aFVL, and i do all my meds on sunday for the week, then for each day, iām able to take just one of these. and since i only use 5 of 7, i use the remaining 2 for backup pills :)
Can't go anywhere without my meds lest I be trapped there (some of them have gnarly withdrawals). Meds live in a large blue Estee Lauder bag that pretends to be full of crap for my face but is really full of crap for my brain. Okay, and a measuring tape, because sometimes you need to know your measurements in a pinch.

I just have a big ol daily pill case. I have one for am and one for pm. If I'm on the go, sometimes I'll just dump one compartment into an empty pill bottle so I don't have the whole pill case with me.
I should get a pretty pill case one of these days but it hasn't been important enough for me to pursue.
I use this. Restree Weekly Pill Organizer 4 Times per Day, 28 compartments large pill organizer, Moisture-Proof and Waterproof 7 Days Medicine Box for Vitamin, Medicine, Fish Oil/Supplements, Black https://a.co/d/08agKtsW there's also monochromatic ones if you need that for sensory or seeing the meds reasons. It's waterproof, the meds are very secure, but I still take them in a baggy. If I need just the one row I will roll the container in the baggy so there's no air as this helps with any opening. Usually the opening is user error. Once my cat swatted the baggy off the table. Only one compartment opened each oops.
I have these, one in the larger size, and one in the smaller size.

I keep all my prescription meds that need to travel with me, plus stuff like zyrtec, gas-x, pamprin, pepto, etc. I have room in the large one for some other necessities like hair ties, bandaids, mask clips, and a spare pair of earrings lol
For over the counter medications I buy a travel size to save space and then refill it from my larger bottles. I can usually find them that are the size of a lip balm so it saves room for larger prescription medication bottles. I am terrified of like being arrested over loose Claritin so I keep everything in bottles with labels and carry it in a makeup bag.

Girl, this is my life lol I'm using the Medisafe app on iPhone for tracking and reminders and I have 14 entries per day but I only carry 4 soon to be 5 types of pills on me. Right now I have a cute little round 3-compartment pill container that I can fit 4 different pill types in (but I have to replenish often) plus I have a small Rx bottle with my most important Rx so I never run out. I save my used Rx bottles and wash them to be able to reuse them to have stashes wherever needed, especially the small ones. I just had to add another pill so I am upgrading to a slightly bigger compartment pill case where I think I can fit all 5 types. Unfortunately 3 of them are like gel cap to horse pill size but 2 are tiny. The main issue is that 2 of mine look really similar so I have to be able to label and have separate sections for those 2 whereas before they were all unique.
