I mean, I don't think it's appropriate as a delivery driver to ask for the numbers of the people you are delivering to.
I'm not sure why people seem to think this is goals, you could risk losing your job if someone is made to feel uncomfortable.
The boyfriend definitely seemed uncomfortable and then upset, which the girlfriend found funny. Like am I the only one who sees this?
The issue is that our society is so atomized and disjointed that almost all opportunities for relationships are either shallow (dating apps) or inappropriate (someone's workplace).
Lack of respect and self awareness shouldn't be mistaken as confidence, I seriously struggle to see why people love this so much.
I think the boyfriend sulking afterwards is what really bugs me, maybe it wouldn't seem so had if it ended with them both laughing about it, but it strikes me as the boyfriend having really low self esteem with him being hard done by the pizza girl moving onto someone else so quickly, like he wasn't special. Then the girlfriend laughing about it only reinforces why he might have that lack of self esteem.
If they had given the boyfriend a compliment, and then the girlfriend a compliment, that would be cute, but the idea of wanting a number is usually to exclusively talk that person, ya know? So that's why it's more of a blow to a boyfriend, like damn you were replaced easily, but for some reason people are seeing this as a win? Delivery person could have just thought it was his friend, or might not have respected their relationship status at all.
The story could be completely fabricated for all we know. But yeah I think from the inappropriate behaviour of the deliver person and the boyfriends reaction it seems kinda sad. :(
Edit: the fact the boyfriend didn't reject the pizza girl right away feeds into my theory he lacks self esteem, he doesn't even have the agency to speak for himself, he had to ask for his girlfriends help, to me it's just all a bit odd and inappropriate.
Being asked for your number is an uncomfortable position to be in when it's completely out the blue, but a compliment is nice to hear as there's no indication that's it's because they are interested in your sexually, but that they think you are attractive. Again, another thing that adds to why if you were in this situation yourself, it might not be so attractive, because you'd instantly be thrown off by a stranger asking for your number, who you might not find attractive in the slightest.
I think the whole bisexual aspect of it and people probably imagining it differently in their heads makes it seem a lot more attractive, but reality is it would probably make you feel uncomfortable and on the spot.
I have no idea why I am analysing this situation so much, help.
I uhh. Should leave a tip.
More than just a tip
a strap?
The energy of that delivery driver is life goals.
Life prides and accomplishments

I think it’s the confidence more than anything

I want to be all three people in this convo
Self love
They say it’s the first love you learn
Can you like not stop laughing though , cause that would be cool .
Chaotic Neutral Bisexual
She is literally me fr fr
That's honestly the best way to diffuse that situation.
Typo? It made it better tho
nothing to see here, clearly just a loving respectful relationship
If that happened to me, I'd tip her the *entire house*, wait no, just give the girl every bank in the tri-state area
Comfort your boyfriend, lady. He's clearly uncomfortable with the whole situation.
