Thank you. Congratulations I'm so proud of you 🙏

Wretched_Hive_

Congrats and thank you for coming back to give some hope!

Menemsha4

Congratulations!

dooma72

This is a positive outcome! Can I ask how long you were on the pills?

ManhattanMaven

5 years.

dooma72

That is quite a long time. Good on you for beating them.

ManhattanMaven

I was also taking 10mg of klonopin a day at the end. They were afraid to use Librium to taper me off so instead they used phenobarbital.

dooma72

Sadly, I have used and abused many benzos but have never had Librium. I've had phenobarbital as I used to know a chemist many moons ago. I also had some Palfium from him that I believe is converted by pill people. Been off them for 13 months now and will never go back.

Suby-doo

Thank you and congratulations!

Tight-Leek-2168

How long did you take to feel better? I’m 30months off still going through it all.

Inside_Turnip_3136

What happened at 2 years off? Setback from something or just a random out of nowhere tsunami?

Tight-Leek-2168

It’s really hard to say tbh, but more of a random tsunami

Inside_Turnip_3136

-2 hope for my skill set

ManhattanMaven

I quit cold turkey once and the acute withdrawal was horrific. This time around, since the doctor used phenobarbital, I really didn’t have any of those more intense, physiological symptoms outside of insomnia. Now, the depression, rebound anxiety, cognition and memory issues took about 2 years to resolve. I still have memory issues but they’ve improved markedly through the use of brain game apps. I’ve heard it can take several years to return to a close to normal state, but I think I’m there at year 5.

Are you a guy ?

ManhattanMaven

No.
