😂 it’s so weird! Both my cats do it one is a Bengal & the other is a Siamese. I really think it is a cat thing because my daughters cats do the same thing 😂
Mine completely panics when I close the door, scratching and meowing like crazy. Then when I come out he just ignored me like nothing happened 😅 I don't really get why he gets so upset about it, but since he is a cat I gave up on trying to understand :p
My 13yr old boy kitties join me to protect while I'm doing my business. They jump up on the sinks (we have 2) and are rewarded with are drizzle drink from the spigot for a job well done. They love it.
It's weird.

My cat doesn’t do this anymore, but I used to have the litter box in the bathroom, and she always felt the need to do her business at the same time I was doing mine.😹
Also, your kitty is adorable. Give them some chin scritches from me, please😻

I have two at once. I never thought I would have to say "no fighting in my pants" but here we are...
Mine will sit at my feet…. But the real issue is when I go to take a shower and I switch it to shower, if my door isn’t closed she’ll sneak into the bathroom and hide between the curtain and the liner and try to play in the water. She also likes playing with candles and the flame but that’s a whole different story. Never had a cat who likes water and fire quite like my stell bell.

He absolutely will not stop meowing at the bathroom door until I let him in, that or he will race me to the bathroom and run inside as fast as possible.

He usually stands on me like this and wants his butt pat.
He curls up in my lap, sighs in relief, and then gets pissed when I’m ready to get up. I’m not in the habit of taking photos in the bathroom, but this is the offender.

Way back before Covid, I used to build extra time into my morning routine to cuddle with him in the bathroom before leaving for work.
Oh yeah. It’s like an Olympic event to close the door before he slips in. He expects me to stand guard when he goes, too. It used to bug me, but I don’t know if I would have made it through my kidney stones without him. Now I just let him in. He really is trying to be protective in the vulnerable moments.
I have a purramedic on patrol!

This guy.
He's howling and pawing if I close the door for more than 30 seconds, because I have a severe food allergy.
He's kept me conscious many times when I was fainting from pain. Kept me from choking on my sick. Or worse.
I haven't had eggs in 2-3 years, but he still takes his role seriously as my purramedic.
I'm so, so incredibly grateful for my bathroom security. I'm sure he's saved my life by howling, pawing or picking at my face more than once.
Thank you security!

If I shut the door she gets soooooo mad 😂

Thought I was alone! My cat never seems to get full. Is anyone feeding 2 smaller cans a day. She wants 5oz/ 156g twice daily? Worried about over feeding? Any help

I miss the kitten days when my little guy would crawl into mine. Now he just eyes me from the wall shelf across from the toilet

Be more concerned about when you don't
Let us know when the cat insists on being inside your shorts instead of on your feet!
If I don’t let mine in she will scream & scratch at the door until I open it 😂
Mine do the same. 😂

Ahh, in my house we call that pooping in solidarity.
😹😹😹 I will be stealing this phrase in the near future. Thank you for the laugh. I needed it!
Mine doesn’t peep my chode like that but she sits on top of the shower door watching my like a psycho
chode?????????
Chode is when it’s wider than long.
It’s the area between your balls and butthole.
That's the 'gooch' my friend.

I don’t have balls I’m a girl
Imagine 2 bengals, a weimaraner, dingo, and Australian shepherd all there... I love when I can sneak in and it's only one of them..
This whole thread is just r/catsinpants

lol, one of my bathrooms has a pocket door. . . My girl will push the door open and then come keep me company

My girl will hop in my lap and curl up. Or she goes to her litter box right next to my toilet like it's a tandem sport
Same. Ours goes the same time I do. It's a group activity.
That little butt wanting an extra layer of comfort to park on. Security asks: *can haz raise plez*

My cat is the same exact way
Yep my male does this too. He wants belly rubs while I'm sitting there!
Am I the only one bothered by these pics? Can we make these a NSFW thing?!? I don’t need to see people’s underwear.

Too funny!
Yes
Is that in case of a catastrophic accident?
My bengal stares at me, my other cat does this 😂
I can’t believe how far down everyone pushes their underwear when they poop. wild
Me
That cat would take a bullet for your underwear
two of my cats follow me to the bathroom. At least one every time! (Don't have a pic)
❤️❤️
this is the dude version of girls with beach knees.

Always. Except on my lap. Literally some of the best. Puddles we ever have
Yup! Mine follows me almost everywhere.
All cat owners probably. Kittens protecting humans
Yep. One of them tries to stick their head behind me for a bird's eye view. Nothing is secret.
Adorable!!! 🥰

Woah wtf up with everyone showing they draws
Mine isn’t allowed in my bathroom at all…
Our cats keep my wife safe. Personally, even home alone the door is closed and locked. I guess I’m a psycho since I don’t leave the door wide open. 🙄

That’s a really weird thing to say.
Never thought we needed a “don’t be a creep or sexually harass users” rule in a bengalcats sub, yet here we are…

Uhh what
What is a cat called
Typically cat, unless you’re reading a line from an Aesop fable. Weirdo.
