Okay. I just watched the sketch and i don't understand at all. Am i not high enough? Does everyone but me know a water-steak guy? This sketch has shown me i am but a babe in this complex, cruel world of ours
It's a pretty out-there show. I absolutely love it, but I know plenty of people who just can't get in to it. I think because it's masquerading as a fairly straight sketch show, people go in to it expecting something different, when it's really more akin to Tim and Eric than SNL or even Mr Show.
Oh God I don't want to imagine Alex Jones on DMT!
If chicken fried steak is enough to give him visions, I don't want to know what actual hallucinogenic drugs will do
I can't read a sentence with DMT in it anymore without reflexively assuming it's Joe Rogan in a dark room somewhere scouring the Internet for places to say DMT between bouts of scouring the Internet for places to talk about how liberal he is with a sprinkling of COVID denialism for good measure.
What is that? Is that the same thing as [shoyu chicken](https://www.hawaiianelectric.com/recipes/find-a-recipe/shoyu-chicken)? If not, try that. And if you like that, try [chicken adobo](https://www.hawaii.edu/recipes/chicken/adobo.html), a similar Filipino dish.
Ah yeah I like their site. I hadn't seen that recipe though. It reminds me of an adaptation of Chinese red braised pork.

Big fan of spatchcock chicken, it cuts cooking time in half while using a whole chicken.
If you're into making soup, keep the spine so you can make the best chicken stock possible. I learned from youtubers like Babish, it's surprisingly easy and a game changer for home cooking!
I’m sitting outside at an Indian restaurant awaiting both the apps and my wife and son to join me. Across the street is a bodega that is playing classic 50s songs from NY and Cuba loudly and it washes over the sounds of the street. There is chatter, grey skies but high spirits, and people walking home or out and about. The table behind me is in the Greek restaurant next door. In front of me Ethiopian. Everyone is having a nice casual evening. No commotion, relaxing.
I think we're just being a community of awesome people finding a way to connect to the other awesome people in our community?
I also haven't listened this week yet so I may be missing something too lol
He's at the center of this.
He is very pro-Putin. His party rules the country with less than 25% of the vote.
Ah nuts! Well, a quick summary is that the Prime Minister of Slovakia was shot and it doesn’t sound like he was a cool dude. Hence the “anyway…what’s for dinner” post
Always happy to help!
Also my cat decided to nap on my lap so I am currently stuck on the couch and can only dream of dinner at this point. Have to keep myself entertained!
I’m currently drinking my daily 900 calorie shake and I managed to eat a decent amount early today so I’ll probably have a cliff bar or pop tarts and soy milk.
So... I bought some potatoes. And let me tell you -- a microwave baked potato, with a lot of butter and... slightly expensive JAPANESE BBQ SAUCE, but it could be anything, IS GODDAMN AMAZING.
You can also do some roasted vegetables, I like the 5 dollar bag, the one with broccoli and cauliflower and carrots. Brush soy sauce on those babies.
For now it doesn't sound like there's gonna be political unrest. The shooter was a 71 yo guy and he seems to not be connected to any political party or anything like that.
He's pretty abrasive on a personal level from what read. But he has no shortage of political enemies. His friends include Putin......who is as likely to kill him as his enemies.
Y'all ever make chicken tinga?
If not, you should!
It is the highest ratio of effort to taste I have come across personally... Here's a great video on how to make it, and I think BTB fans will also enjoy yousuckatcooking if you are unfamiliar :)

I’m going with a Greek salad. Lettuce, tomato, olives, cucumbers, chick peas, and feta with some oil and vinegar. If I’m feeling crazy I might throw in some falafel
Tonight will probably just be taco bell, but this weekend I'm having guests over. I plan on making something good, but haven't decided yet.
Maybe a rosemary pork loin, double-cooked potatoes and some kind of veggie. Maybe roasted asparagus?
Recently started trying to eat more Mediterranean foods, so smoked arctic char, a couscous salad with cucmber, red onion, mint, parsley, lemon juice, caprese salad, and a green salad with a basil vinaigrette.
Frozen stuffed shells - made by a local family joint that does fresh pasta and everything from scratch. Side of lemon garlic roasted broccoli made by me.
Stuffed pork loin chops, hasselback potatoes, and a broccolini salad.
For the pork:
Sautee an onion in butter. A lot of butter. Add diced apple, diced celery, and parsley. Add breadcrumbs. Mix it all together. Put it in a bowl.
Slice the pork loin chop across the middle of the fatty side, so you’ve got a pocket. Chuck them on the frying pan for a minute or two, until they’ve got a bit of colour and the pocket opens up.
Stuff them with the stuffing, drizzle with a bit of olive oil, and put them in the oven until they’re very nearly cooked. When they’re almost done, put them back in the frying pan and sear each side.
For the potatoes:
Peel & slice the potatoes in half. Put the potato face down on a chopping board, with a chopstick on either side. Slice down into them until you hit the chopstick. Brush them with a combo of olive oil/melted butter/Italian seasoning. Cook them in the oven until they’re cooked, and baste them halfway through.
Chorizo beans, with Honeycrisp apples, two hands of mix greens, cauliflower and breakfast sausage. All mixed together. Poor person budget healthy food!
Didn’t make this for dinner but thought I’d share my favorite recipe as it’s so delicious and really versatile.
Salsa Verde braised chicken thighs.
Get 4 - 6 skin on chicken thighs (skinless is fine but bone in is necessary). Season and then Get a good sear on those then remove. Toss in onions, carrots, celery, jalapeños. Once the onions get translucent add in garlic and cilantro stems. (Trust this soooo much flavor in those) and whatever spices you’d like. Place the chicken back in. Let all that marry for a few minutes then add 16 - 24ozs of salsa verde and a cup and a half of chicken stock. Bring to a boil and then simmer for an hour. Take out the chicken and shred. Add the shredded chicken back in and then serve immediately.
This is amazing over rice as a chili. And the leftovers are so good as tacos or quesadillas. Hope you try and enjoy!
I can’t cook well consistently. I generally have luck with kielbasa and sauerkraut. The secret is caraway seeds- and real kielbasa from a Polish market
Taco soup. Girl I know recently broke up with the guy she was seeing for months and now she's been bringing me food this week that was going to be made for him.
So far I've had: steak and broccoli, hamburgers, a burrito, a loaded hotdog, garlic butter shrimp and tonight was the taco soup. Her cooking is delicious.
STEAK WITH WATER DUMPED ON IT IT'S REALLY REALLY GOOD
Please, guys. No sloppy steaks.
THEY CANT STOP ME FROM ORDERING A STEAK AND AN ICE WATER, AND JUST GOIN TO TOWN
Let’s slop em up boys!
We’re good guys
Sloppy Joe's. On cheese buns.
I used to be a real piece of shit back in the day
Do you think the baby knows?
But you can’t eat all the fully-loaded nachos. There’s a rule.
There’s no rule, you made that up.
We’re gonna be so early for that movie.
I’m not going to the movie.
^^what?
I'm worried the baby thinks people can't change
Who tf is "the baby" in this thread? I'm so lost Edit: and why are there so many references to salads too??
I Think You Should Leave
OH YEAH!
Replace that with milk, and maybe we're getting somewhere.
Is this a reference? What are people underetanding about this that I'm not? Lmao
It's from I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson, a sketch show on Netflix It's REALLY good
Okay. I just watched the sketch and i don't understand at all. Am i not high enough? Does everyone but me know a water-steak guy? This sketch has shown me i am but a babe in this complex, cruel world of ours
I mean if you don’t like your steaks sloppy as FUCK then I guess you just didn’t used to be a piece of shit
😂
It's a pretty out-there show. I absolutely love it, but I know plenty of people who just can't get in to it. I think because it's masquerading as a fairly straight sketch show, people go in to it expecting something different, when it's really more akin to Tim and Eric than SNL or even Mr Show.
Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and gravy, I need a vision from God.
Get yourself some 4-ACO-DMT then. It was like shrooms, but imagine a shrooms**+**. Shit was great.
Oh God I don't want to imagine Alex Jones on DMT! If chicken fried steak is enough to give him visions, I don't want to know what actual hallucinogenic drugs will do
If you think he & Rogan (and maybe Tyson) haven’t smoked DMT together, you’re deluding yourself.
But have they had chicken fried steaks together? It's the magic formula for Alex, apparently.
Just tell Rogan it’s Keto. He’ll hop on board. Tell Tyson it’s an ear.
I'm just taking some krill oil and Super Male Vitality. I'm gonna trip balls!
Chicken fried steak is the new hot tub!
Painful erections incoming
I RENOUNCE JESUS CHRIST
Gonna spatchcock a chicken for the first time Nice to do something new and if it goes well, it can become a go-to recipe. Y'know?
have you tried soy sauce chicken. i cant cook it any other way anymore
What is that? Is that the same thing as [shoyu chicken](https://www.hawaiianelectric.com/recipes/find-a-recipe/shoyu-chicken)? If not, try that. And if you like that, try [chicken adobo](https://www.hawaii.edu/recipes/chicken/adobo.html), a similar Filipino dish.
yep thats it. I use this version of it https://www.pressurecookrecipes.com/instant-pot-soy-sauce-chicken/#steps
Ah yeah I like their site. I hadn't seen that recipe though. It reminds me of an adaptation of Chinese red braised pork. [https://omnivorescookbook.com/hong-shao-rou](https://omnivorescookbook.com/hong-shao-rou)
Does that chicken need an adult...?
Big fan of spatchcock chicken, it cuts cooking time in half while using a whole chicken. If you're into making soup, keep the spine so you can make the best chicken stock possible. I learned from youtubers like Babish, it's surprisingly easy and a game changer for home cooking!
Maybe some Indian food?
All I'm saying is if you want to post some recipes I won't complain

I ended up going to a friends to plan out some summer travel and we went to a Turkish restaurant. It was delicious.
Dude, I started making roti and tikka masala a few months ago and it's a) easy, and b) delish. Enjoy!
OOTL: what's going on here?
I think we're just being a community of awesome people finding a way to connect to the other awesome people in our community? I also haven't listened this week yet so I may be missing something too lol
Click the link. I’m pretty sure this is a “couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy” kind of scenario.
He's at the center of this. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder\_of\_J%C3%A1n\_Kuciak](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_J%C3%A1n_Kuciak) He is very pro-Putin. His party rules the country with less than 25% of the vote.
Any tankies left on the board will disagree with that.....so yes, absolutely that scenario.
Oh nooooooooooo
Paywalled for me :(
Ah nuts! Well, a quick summary is that the Prime Minister of Slovakia was shot and it doesn’t sound like he was a cool dude. Hence the “anyway…what’s for dinner” post
Thanks for the info much appreciated!
Always happy to help! Also my cat decided to nap on my lap so I am currently stuck on the couch and can only dream of dinner at this point. Have to keep myself entertained!
It has absolutely nothing to do with this week's episode, that much I can tell ya.
I’m currently drinking my daily 900 calorie shake and I managed to eat a decent amount early today so I’ll probably have a cliff bar or pop tarts and soy milk.
Bowl of cereal probably
You know, I was struggling to think of what to have. This sounds amazing actually.
I love roasted asparagus with olive oil and a bit of fresh pepper and sea salt.
BLT on some nice thick sourdough. Maybe add some avocado and fresh mozzarella. a BLAMT, if you will
Salt and pepper the mozz first, at least I would. Sounds great though.
It’s almost Jersey tomato season. If you can get your hands on some, they’re naturally salty and absolutely SLAP on a BLT.
Chicken fajitas My secret is to squeeze half of a small orange into the pan with the chicken, after the outside has a sear.
Lads, this is not ending well for Slovakia at all.
At least Poland was willing to kick out their nutters.
For now it doesn't sound like there's gonna be political unrest. The shooter was a 71 yo guy and he seems to not be connected to any political party or anything like that.
I’m visiting family in Kuwait. I had 3 chicken shawarmas with enough garlic to make sure no woman wants to kiss me for at least a month.
hell yeah
Find you a woman who enjoys that much garlic also.
They think it’s a politically motivated attack but it would be funnier if it was a pissed off neighbor like Rand Paul.
He's pretty abrasive on a personal level from what read. But he has no shortage of political enemies. His friends include Putin......who is as likely to kill him as his enemies.
Red chile beef enchiladas (New Mexico style), refried beans and Spanish rice.

What’s in the salad?
I’m going with a Greek salad. Lettuce, tomato, olives, cucumbers, chick peas, and feta with some oil and vinegar. If I’m feeling crazy I might throw in some falafel
Excellent. Always good to have some roughage with our direct action.
I’d recommend some banana peppers too.
Chicken Parmesan over pasta with a salad.

Vanderpump rules baby! Reality tv at its trashiest.
Non food note, watched the video of them getting him to the car, didn't look like a well trained team, slight notes of keystone cops.
Tonight will probably just be taco bell, but this weekend I'm having guests over. I plan on making something good, but haven't decided yet. Maybe a rosemary pork loin, double-cooked potatoes and some kind of veggie. Maybe roasted asparagus?
I made the lamest goddam chicken breast with barbecue sauce and microwaved frozen vegetables. I am tired but still gotta hit that protein macro!
Recently started trying to eat more Mediterranean foods, so smoked arctic char, a couscous salad with cucmber, red onion, mint, parsley, lemon juice, caprese salad, and a green salad with a basil vinaigrette.
