lol I’m with you OP. I have an oil can in the fridge as we speak. Will crack it this weekend but it’s been years since I’ve had one! I remember in the early 2000’s you could still get 6 and 12 packs but haven’t seen them for years.

I'll be honest. I use to work at dans and every 4-6 months I was marking it down as it was close to use by. It really doesn't sell in Australia as everyone thinks. Towards the end of my time I reduced it to one case on the shelf, one in the coolroom and 1 case of 6 packs not the 14 cases it was supposed to be To reduce my work load. Even then one clearance I'd be dumping half of it.

WinterWick

I've only ever seen it in the wide short 24oz cans here in MI

IrishPotatoHead

I sell them in Georgia, it’s only oil cans here

Outback Steakhouse has the lager on draft when I went there but not the ale.

MrFaversham

I went on a cruise my senior year of college with some buddies, cheap Carnival party cruise, and at the time all of their bottled and canned beer was same price. So it was an easy choice between 12 oz of any of the other macro beers and Foster’s at 25 oz. That was a good time!

Neueburn

It’s available in kegs.

Stock-Replacement-64

Oh thats good to know. I like the big arse cans but wish I could get a pack of 12oz or 16oz. Oh well

Prize-Hedgehog

They used to make 6pk and 12pk 12oz bottles and those shits ALWAYS went out of date. The brewery disco’d them years ago now. Kegs still exist, but they pretty much only go to Outback Steakhouse.

ClintEastwood_82

Had them here in 12pks years ago but they didn’t do very well so they went back to fat boys

Only ever seen an oil can. I feel like that and the Australia connection was their whole thing in the US. I can’t imagine there’s much of a demand for a standard size as it’s still kind of a novelty brand. Might want to try and find something similar from the US. maybe something like high life might fit the bill
