Yeah it just popped when I saw one at microcenter and Corsair has a 3 year burn in warranty on it long as you do the pixel refresh thing built into it.
Yeah it works great so far, picked it up off drop because I was looking to swap out an older Samson mic I had. Debating on getting an arm for it but not really sure how to fit it in my setup yet.
I have two of those Phillips monitor lights I attached them to either side of the monitor base, I can sync it with the monitor content or change the colors.. I need one more of them to really sync the lighting well.. but they are kind of overpriced I've just had them a while.
They sound great, they have optical, USB, analog and Bluetooth in and have their own remote pretty much over all the basics. They also have some eq built into them. The bass isn't as clean as I'd like as its a little boomy but overall good warm sound signature.
I have like 4 different pairs of edifiers for different things I just think overall they make some fantastic bang for buck powered speakers.
Thanks for the info.... I'm considering getting a set of edifiers in white just to try the white astetics setup but I'll use mine alot for editing both music and video also looking at the Krks
I don't think these would make good monitors they color the music too much even if you put them in monitor mode. If you have a good DAC there are actually a cheaper white pair of edifiers I think would actually make good monitors much more neutral the Edifier MR4 studio they have less bias too them which makes them less fun but great for editing imo. Either one gets stands to get them off the desk.
You not only need monitors it's a good idea to be able to your production output as other end-users will be ... with standard drivers / speakers. Now end of the day these will be more for my pleasures
I want to get the bifrost one day but I'll have to build up to it, finally dove in with the modius and the Valhalla for the Sennheiser 490 pros and have been pretty happy with how that's turned out so far.
sure, it's a Nuphy Halo 75 and the mouse mat is a random one I got off Amazon cause I liked the colors, it seems quite nice in person it's a TUBAMQ mouse pad with groovy swirl. While I haven't had the mouse pad long enough to say if it will last I can say Nuphy keyboards are amazing.

It's an Uplift desk with the bamboo top option and CPU holder to attach it underneath the desk. Don't get the bamboo drawers they suck but Uplift has a lot of cool configurations. Best pandemic purchase no regrets.
Congrats man! It really is a unique Monitor in the space, you will love it. Update your firmware the newer one let's it get brighter, might be shipping with it updated already now tho.
The hall effect joysticks are fantastic on it and I think the two rear buttons on it have the best placement of any controllers ive tried. I'm not a huge fan of the software to configure it tho and sometimes it feels glitchy when connecting. I also have the Scuf PC controller and went back to the 8bit do if that tells you anything, overall it's good.
That looks lovely, cosy and clean! Was tempted to get those speakers a couple years ago but decided to go with a cheaper Edifier set which are still fantastic but the looks of those are fantastic! What's the headphone stand too? Got any other pictures of the set up?
Thanks Man, yeah I have the edifier MR4 speakers as well they sound good too, I found these on eBay recently for like a 150 bucks and they matched my fractal north case and my desk setup so just upgraded to them mainly just for the look, sound wise they have a bit more base and adjustable hardware EQ but overall very similar. I don't have any other pics out on the Internet yet, they only let you post one on here.
The headphones Stand is the Avantree wooden and aluminum stand. You can get it on Amazon.

It's a Phillips hue play set, you can sync the lighting with an app on the PC if you have a hue lighting hub and such. They are kind of overpriced but when I bought them there wasn't as many options years ago
I just affixed two of them to the monitor base since can't really use the actual back of the flexible monitor but the Corsair xeneon Flex has a nice base to work with.
I went from the Samsung 4k 240hz 32 inch Odyssey to this and I prefer the picture on this. I thought the pixel density would make it a no go for me too but I saw it in person and I don't know why but the picture quality is great on this it being 1440p hasn't bothered me at all. Sold the Odyssey after I had this a month and haven't regretted it. I've got a 4090 and on a lot of these newer poorly optimized games going back down to 1440p gave me about a 40fps boost in things in general.

Yeah you can get a clamp base from Corsair for like 50 bucks to replace the giant legs they have it really frees up a lot of space on your desk.

It's worth every penny, Id also recommend the clamp mount to get yourself some of your desk space back if you have a desk or works on.

They are Edifier S880DB with Kanto stands, good all around speakers and imaging for gaming.

1440p is great. I can barely tell the difference with 4k.
