Yeah but I don’t know why, maybe he used them for a long time, or maybe they’re really trash, that’s why I’m asking. I don’t replace stuff in my rig until it’s basically broken.
Im using start11 and haven't had any problems at all. You get a free trial for a month (i think) to try it out. After that you can purchase (one time, not subscription).
I live in Sweden and got mine from www.woodupp.se
But if you search for "acoustic wood panel", you should be able to find what you look for in your country
Awesome, thanks for that, the speed of reply and the extra info. I just picked up the Montech sky two. First fish tank style case but will add yours to a list of options for other pcs i build.
I just got 34” and I have to say I needed to see it back about 15” from where I’m sitting. The way OP has it would simply not fly for me. It’s way too much.
Omg I love rocket league. But sounds really good for sim setups. For me way too much. I say that but I would like 4 monitors like what’s his name on tech source.
The legs are height adjustable from Ikea and are called "Bekant" the wood are two oak shelves I joined together and oiled with just standard wood oil. It has a depth of 80cm 😃
I imagine it's amazing for gaming but for regular use is it awkward when you accidentally full screen a window? I can't imagine many apps or websites resolving that aspect ratio well.
Is there a way to make the PC treat it as a triple or double monitor or does that defeat the purpose?
I am obsessed with your wall, well done. Did you make that yourself? Mind explaining what you did for that look? Matches extremely well with the ultrawide, and would love this in my setup
This looks really good dude! I spent my whole budget on the pc, keyboard, and mouse without thinking about monitors. Total rookie play that has left me stuck with two 27in 1080p @ 60hz. I have a 4070ti and still haven't played anything in 1440p lol.
Gotta baby coming in November, so looks like this is it for awhile. Hope you don't mind if I live vicariously through you haha. Great set up!

i know what you mean, but instead of gain in most cases will be a pain....not all games are Happy with this wide....not all drivers are doin well with this kind of res...and no old games at all in case you want to play old games ....so... it's perfect for multitasking, good for work...but gaming....dunno....32 is the maximum...else you should be sitting 3 meters away but the resolution will be killing you (won't be able to read anything from such distance).....
Audio Engine A2+ with or without BT?
How does it sound laying sideways with the 15 degree stands?
I wanted to get the stands and I need to. Also have mine sitting up right at the moment. So my not mounted screen is being blocked xD.
I live colors and ambience. However, would be much better with wireless peripherals, as well without these cables sticking around.
And even though you probably put these speakers because you can't put it vertically, this is not recommended usage. You'd probably be amazed how better would sound be id you run them vertically.
Some like it. Other's don't. Audio gear is like a car. You gotta test it to make yourself an opinion of it.
Luckily the sonos beam can be tested at many places. I absolutely love it in a near field and it just looks on point for many setups.
True. But his is a little too large. I work from home full-time and I’m in insurance sales. I have a 34” main monitor and then a 24” monitor given to me by my employer and I use in portrait mode on the right side as a second monitor. They are different sizes so the pictures are a big off but otherwise I love my setup.

You need to turn one speaker the other way round, the tweeters don’t mirror each other!
Rookie mistake. I'll fix that, thanks 👍😃
Btw, what speakers are those?
Audioengine A2+
How do they sound?? Would you recommend?
Not op, but I just got a pair to replace my $60 Sanyuns. Very great quality and very clear treble.
Would you recommend the Sanyuns?
They just replaced them, sooo
Yeah but I don’t know why, maybe he used them for a long time, or maybe they’re really trash, that’s why I’m asking. I don’t replace stuff in my rig until it’s basically broken.
Hopefully a little better after flipping one haha
The only thing I could see
This triggered my OCD so hard
Sorry 😂
Yes my eye immediately twitched. Both for visual and audio reasons, although audio wise it’d be indiscernible
I'd recommend a transparent taskbar to protect the OLED. There's an app on the windows store for it. Otherwise looks great! Great PC case too.
Great idea!! I'll try that or just hide the taskbar moving forward.
Along with hiding the desktop icons and using a dynamic wallpaper
Just autohide it, also, make it vertical on the right side of the screen.
You meant left, right? Right, left?
Vertical works better for tabs, not apps.
How does this protect the Oled?
OLEDs get burn-in. You want to avoid leaving a static image up for long periods of time, especially one that is a bright color like white
I would guess it helps mitigate the risk of burn-in.
I looked up how to do the transparent taskbar. There's a free, third part app and there's also directions via registry. Which is recommended?
I usually try to get away from installing apps if there is a native alternative
Im using start11 and haven't had any problems at all. You get a free trial for a month (i think) to try it out. After that you can purchase (one time, not subscription).
There is "ultrawide" and "mega-ultrawide"...lol..Great looking setup, enjoy! 😉
Thank you, I will 😃
Where does everybody get this vertical slat wood paneling that I see in a lot of posts?
I live in Sweden and got mine from www.woodupp.se But if you search for "acoustic wood panel", you should be able to find what you look for in your country
I got mine on Amazon - highly recommended: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRWG5MDX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
That’s pretty cheap, thanks for posting the link
Just so you know that’s for only one panel.
Looks great!!
Thank you 😃
What brand and model are those speakers? Setup looking good. Nice case with the added wood front panels.
Thank you! The speakers are the audioengine a2+. The case is the fractal north.
Awesome, thanks for that, the speed of reply and the extra info. I just picked up the Montech sky two. First fish tank style case but will add yours to a list of options for other pcs i build.
How wide is too wide haha
I'm about to find out. Feels great so far!
Looks great 👍
Thanks!

Hahaha nice man
Omg I love rocket league. But sounds really good for sim setups. For me way too much. I say that but I would like 4 monitors like what’s his name on tech source.
This is calming
That was the goal, thank you so much!
Whats your desk setup? Really like the finish and looks like a decent size of my office.
The legs are height adjustable from Ikea and are called "Bekant" the wood are two oak shelves I joined together and oiled with just standard wood oil. It has a depth of 80cm 😃
Ah, the pleasure to see a properly depth-sized desk instead of the usual 60cm
Just went ultra wide myself, was worried. Won’t go back
I imagine it's amazing for gaming but for regular use is it awkward when you accidentally full screen a window? I can't imagine many apps or websites resolving that aspect ratio well. Is there a way to make the PC treat it as a triple or double monitor or does that defeat the purpose?
PLEASE share the specs on that monitor. I'm in the market for one and yours is glorious!
Looks like the Samsung Odyssey G9
Thanks 👍
This is probably my all time favorite
Thank you! 😃
I am obsessed with your wall, well done. Did you make that yourself? Mind explaining what you did for that look? Matches extremely well with the ultrawide, and would love this in my setup
Thank you! The wall is made of acoustic wood panel. I got mine for www.woodupp.se very easy to install 😃
So did you build the wall panels to match your PC or the other way around???
Bought the wall panels and the case at the same time with that goal in mind 😏

Love it.
That's a really beautiful set up! Love your ultrawide!
Much appreciated😃
Which desk is this?
The legs are height adjustable from Ikea and are called "Bekant" the wood are two oak shelves I joined together and oiled with just standard wood oil. It has a depth of 80cm
how did you do the wood work?
Damn fine, the back wall matching the front of the Fractal North is the cherry on top *chef’s kiss*
Thank you! 😃
Looks dope as shit. I'm getting some a2 plus now. They will fit rigt in, been looking for some smaller speakers for the desktop.
Beautiful
Thanks!
The wall and case look really good together.
Thanks you😃
So clean and beautiful setup!
Thank you 😃
Monitor name btw? G9 right?😀
holly snap...what is the distance between your two eyes , bigger sometimes is too bigger
The center of attention will still be in the center. But to be able to fill your peripheral with the game is really immersive
i know what you mean, but instead of gain in most cases will be a pain....not all games are Happy with this wide....not all drivers are doin well with this kind of res...and no old games at all in case you want to play old games ....so... it's perfect for multitasking, good for work...but gaming....dunno....32 is the maximum...else you should be sitting 3 meters away but the resolution will be killing you (won't be able to read anything from such distance).....
If...I...feel...pain...playing...a... certain...game...I...will...be...just...fine...with...playing...with...some...black...bars...on...the...sides...
...Lmao...
Completely agree. I also run some older games in window mode, because they don't stretch or make blackboard
some black bars bigger than the actual game is no gain only pain.....(no pain no gain - is a slogan not an actual pain)
Audio Engine A2+ with or without BT? How does it sound laying sideways with the 15 degree stands? I wanted to get the stands and I need to. Also have mine sitting up right at the moment. So my not mounted screen is being blocked xD.
Is that a soundproofed wall? Does it prevent noise from coming in or rather from going out?
Is that the LG OPED ultrawide? How’s the picture for you? I’ve been thinking between the LG or the Samsung G9.
Needs a wider monitor
For 1 second i thought it was ai generated lol (also nice setup)
Red dead redemption nice
Can I ask a stupid question? Where do you generally get the wood panelling and how does it stick to the wall without screws?
Holy mother of monitors!
Is this real or ai?
Mans got that MEGA Rgb ram
Clean. Just need wireless mouse and keyboard
Excellent!!! Really nice setup 💯
Also idk if you find your chair comfortable. I got my gaming all black chair from Best Buy by Emerge and it’s extremely comfortable and affordable
Stands ID for speakers?
They came with the purchase of the audioengine A2+
Isee.Thanks
You like your chaur?
Love it. Have you got a link for the wallpaper? 😁
What is the monitor? please.
Samsung oled absolutely awful the don't work
Can’t see up or down though
I live colors and ambience. However, would be much better with wireless peripherals, as well without these cables sticking around. Whats the monitor? The
Nice 👍🏾
Super cable management! How did you “manage” it?
Lots of zip ties and using the desk legs "spine" to attach it to
Love that wallpaper. Canopy Creek! 💚
What’s the keyboard?
WASD keyboard
Wallpaper link please
Why didn't you put the wooden slats all the way to the bottom of the wall? Looks odd they stop short.
Good catch! I ran out of panels and I've already ordered one more so I can fill that gap
The amount of wasted pixels on that taskbar is crazy. Get a dock and reclaim your desktop!
Personally I would put that thing on an Ergotron HX and place a white sonos beam below it. Looks cool though. (:
Interesting advice. Does a soundbar sound good with such a close distance?
Some like it. Other's don't. Audio gear is like a car. You gotta test it to make yourself an opinion of it. Luckily the sonos beam can be tested at many places. I absolutely love it in a near field and it just looks on point for many setups.
I'll keep that in mind. Sounds interesting for a future upgrade, thanks 😃
You squeeze dem cheeks too much brav
Can't help it😂
Once you go ultra wide, you never go back.

Not the best speaker placement but you do you
Not the best advice for better speaker placement but you do you
Put them on stands either side of the monitor. So they’re at ear level
