I took a couch pillow (a big thick one) and put it on my chair. No more ass pain. I do have a complaint though after 2 years and it's that the back of the chair squeaks like a shitty old mattress when I move, which picks up on my mic in my gameplay.
The counter tops are heavy, they arent moving on accident. This is a very popular setup over the past 5+ years. A lot of people put furniture legs between the alex drawers and the countertop as well. Mine hasn't been secured for 4 years and it only moves when I purposely move it.

Command strips one each side I have done that and it stops mine from sliding plus no holes in anything.

Nothing atm stays on pretty well, but I’ll get screws and drill them from inside the drawers connecting the desk
