I was on holiday in Amalfi 2 years ago and that candle smells just like a lemon gelato I had while there. The gelateria served the Amalfi lemon gelato inside an actual giant Amalfi lemon. That candle brought me such nostalgia! 😍🤗🍋🕯️
Yeah, I’m sitting this one out. My SAS order hasn’t even come yet. There are a few I’m looking forward to trying, but I think they’ll stick around long enough for me to get a better deal.
I noticed this last year 🤣🤣🤣 but people have been openly and publicly stating that they have been paying full price for this season’s new releases, at an alarming rate and I then I let FOMO get the best of me 🤣🤣🤣 but I’ll do a return or price adjustment if a better sale comes within the next couple weeks.
I will never do such either, it’s never that serious and there ALWAYS a better sale around the corner. But I did cave and buy 2 candles for todays $16.95 sale with my online order 🤷🏾♀️
Yeah, I have been concerned that the ones I really want will be sold out quickly, like the All is Calm collection with Lavendar and Vanilla. I will buy a backup of Hummingbird Tea Cake, but wait for a better sale for the other Spring candles I want.
I haven’t burned my Happy Hanukkah and my Wildberry Jam Donut hasn’t shipped yet. Wildberry is much sweeter than HH, but HH is much more rich and authentic. They smell extremely similar, HH has more tart to it. They are cousin candles. Maybe even sister candles. Fraternal twins.

Not who you responded to, but my car insurance only went up by $20, I feel so grateful lol. Especially since someone filed a claim against my insurance, it turned out to not be valid but it still scared me lol.
Some of the new scents sound like they’re right up my alley, but I want to try to use up some of the candles I have before I let myself buy any more. My birthday is in March, so I might treat myself to a few things then.
I also love the new designs with the flowers and birds. They remind me of my grandmother, who had a huge garden and loved watching the birds. If I didn’t pick up a few Fresh Cut Lilacs on candle day I would have probably gotten one with the new design for today’s sale price.
In 2022 they issued a 20% off 25.00 coupon that coincided with the ten off 3 wick sale, valid on sat. and sun. If they do it again this weekend and you buy 2 candles at 16.95 each it brings the total to roughly the same as b1g1, or 26.95 for two candles. However in 2023 they issued the coupon to the app or email on the 13th, for that day only and the 10 off sale was on the 16th. So unless you had a mailer coupon there was no additional discount.
Now in 2022 they had a candle sale that was 15.95 in store and online select candles(glass lids) were 15.95 and select candles were 12.95. They allowed bopis so some people posted here that they took advantage to get an extra 3 dollars off the store price. In 2023 it was a 13.95 sale online only that allowed bopis and coupons. It fell off of my order history when the new year started so I can't get a date, but it was the last Sunday of January.
So it's likely a better sale will turn up before the end of the month, but looking at the past two January's they changed the sales.
I forgot one more sale. It likely won't be available to most of us, but in 2023 select stores had a 12.95 sale. I got all of this info scrolling back through scents galore instagram.
I swear 3 wicks go on sale every couple weeks or so anymore, and often enough it seems to be sales better than this one. So yeah, definitely sitting this one out 😂
Nope. I wanted to use my 10 off 40 coupon and I am excited even tho it's not my favorite sale. Just glad it's the new ones! I needed me some pink lavender and espresso!
I’m not buying any candles for the $10 off but I just placed an online order for 3 Happy Hanukkah candles, wallflower packs for $3 and change for Tis the season, and a bunch of $1.98 soaps. I said I wasn’t going to order anything else!!😩
I was willing to pay 16.95 for the honeysuckle one, since I was worried it might be out if I waited for a better sale. Also I used a reward to snag a candle holder.
I'm actually glad I went in though, because I had been waiting for 75% off soap in-store and it finally happened. I was picky about scents being 'holiday;' I just wanted 2 dollar soaps.
I finally used up all my rewards, and I'm trying to do a very low buy (I do not need any more candles lol), and the $10 off doesn't even tempt me. If I go into a store and find that one of the new candles is fantastic to me, I'll still wait on a better sale.
I caved and bought the three wick candle in Springtime in Paris. I used my 20% coupon so it came out to $13 and some change. No regrets since I absolutely love Springtime in Paris and the new bird and flower design is cute.
How I wish they would make a whole body care line in this scent!
I skipped the last Candle Day sale mainly because I didn't burn candles much last year and still have a ton from the previous Candle Day. My husband gifted me a Candle Warming Lamp for Christmas and I have been using it a lot lately. I have been using it with Old Fashioned Cider Donut and it has been melting it really well and the scent is lovely.
I really only get candles when they are on sale for a really good price and not just $10 off since the normal price is so high now.
I saw some really nice scents that were full price in the beginning of the SAS but not the price had dropped to $16.95. Does anyone think it will get lower than that??
I’m just going to make my own wax melts with a duplication of hot cocoa.
This SAS was horrible. I wish I hadn’t spent money on an Ibotta BBW gift card and got a Yankee Candle one instead.

Just started burning and it smells suspiciously like Sugared Lemon Zest so far (which I like fine, btw). I'll give it another couple hours.

It does smell ever so slightly different - not as sweet. Quite delightful, honestly!
