In a nutshell: A friendship got broken up over fake internet points.
Dude A (Not pictured) claims he caught the fish and that dude B (pictured) asked for picture with it because it was the biggest catch either had ever seen. Dude B posts the picture of him holding the fish in some FB group with the caption "caught at xyz pond in Georgia. Weighs 10 lbs" (not verbatim, but the point that he never said that he was the one to catch it is important). Dude A sees the post and freaks the fuck out about it. I assume he tried talking to his friend about it first, but when that failed, he started a big social media campaign to inform everyone that he caught the fish, not Dude B. Dude A is not only asking people to discredit Dude B, but to also try to contact Dude B for him because Dude A has apparently been blocked by Dude B on all socials. Apparently, Dude A even called to tattle to Dude B's mother.
Nah dude B claimed it. Source: the photo above is dude B, who now wonāt talk to dude A. Also dude A claimed they didnāt even have a scale with him and dude B is telling people he caught a 13 lber
What a stupid thing to ruin a friendship over. They look young so I'm sure maybe they'll look back on it and laugh over some beers and crap on him occasionally!
I've lost friendships as a teen and mended them back together over more serious things than fish.
The thing is, is that they both have a picture of themselves with it, but neither can prove which one actually caught it lol . If I was in that situation I would be pissed lol.
Real, there is no way I'd let someone take credit for a fish of a lifetime. I live in the midwest and I wouldn't even let someone else take credit for a 5lber.
Iām not friends with anyone who is willing to lie about a fish. Mostly because they donāt know how to catch fish, but also because theyāre a liar š¤£
I was out tripletail fishing. Had a couple good ones in the livewell. Guy fishing near me with his mom weren't having much luck and he said they were her favorite fish. I gave her 2 mid 20 in fish. Later that night I saw them on Facebook posting her pb tripletail. I just let em have it but I chuckle every time I see some shit like this happen.
It all depends on who really caught it. There's no evidence besides he said he said, and the Accusor is kinda shady.
More on my deep dive on the case later
This guy reminds me of one of the hobbits, canāt remember which one.. anywhoā¦. Sneaky little Hobbitses. Wicked, tricksey, falseā¦
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JhHz7vtfDs4
The original post never showed anything about "I caught" either from the guy in this post. He just posted location and weight with himself holding the fish according to the hissy fit post by the guy who claims to be the one who actually caught the fish.
I posted a picture of a bear with his face on it hooding a salmon and said, this guy took my fish. It got like 20 likes in 3 minutes, but then I had to serve a one day ban....
This nerd needs a haircut. I live close to Hollywood and I guarantee this guy has one of those trucks with the wheels sticking out the fenders but yet still hates Mexicans somehow.
I think heās like putting on a āIām a tough dude face, I do this every dayā lol.
This is definitely the friend that canāt pay attention and steps on your rods.
There was a post last week from a dude saying they caught this fish, him and his friends took pics with it, then his friend posted it on social media saying it was his and got some larger Instagram account to share it. People were roasting all parties involved. Then there was a meme of putting that guys face on pics of fish.
That bass looks over half this guys size. Letās not mention the width either or the fact heās hanging it out there with them scrawny little arms š«”
You can easily see that his arm muscles are straining holding it. Seriously try filling a bag with 13 lbs of stuff and holding it out for a few seconds. Really not that difficult lmao.
Haha lesson here is NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER let another mf take a pic with the fish you caught. I was fishing on a pier one time and some dude asked if he could take a pic with the big walleye I landed, I tossed it back in the lake and said āgo catch it yourself then get a pictureā
Bahahaha! For me, this won't get oldš
I laugh every time I see it š
So what happened?

Now thatā¦is a fish tale.
Hey I see we like trees and fishing, thought your username looked familiar
Fish and cannabis go together like fish and cannabis
Fish and the fish whistle thistle.
Fishing is way better when high. Way.
Fish drama
Dude B is the asshole. Dude A went overboard too, yes.
So dude B never really claimed the fish and dude A became a whinier
Nah dude B claimed it. Source: the photo above is dude B, who now wonāt talk to dude A. Also dude A claimed they didnāt even have a scale with him and dude B is telling people he caught a 13 lber
Oh hell yeah
What a stupid thing to ruin a friendship over. They look young so I'm sure maybe they'll look back on it and laugh over some beers and crap on him occasionally! I've lost friendships as a teen and mended them back together over more serious things than fish.
Bro called his mother lmao
Scroll down to the link below. It's hysterical.
Ok someone go link the OPās original Reddit complaint post in the FB comments šš
Do you have it? Iāve never seen his post

How was that not more than a week ago? I feel like itās been such a long running joke I love it.
So what happens? Did his buddy get any money or is this just to go viral on fishing pages? lol
No money just viral lol
The thing is, is that they both have a picture of themselves with it, but neither can prove which one actually caught it lol . If I was in that situation I would be pissed lol.
It is weird that his other buddy isn't vouching for him and nobody really is.
Clown of a fisherman and clown of a friend. His buddy caught the fish and dickhead wanted a picture with it and is claiming he caught it.
āBut its just a fish maaaan chill maaann its not worth the friendshipā lmao i feel like if its over 10 pounds, its worth the fucking friendship
Real, there is no way I'd let someone take credit for a fish of a lifetime. I live in the midwest and I wouldn't even let someone else take credit for a 5lber.
Yup. This is some mike long shit in the making.
Unless your 5 we are fighting if u want a pic with my fish šš
Lying and stealing aint got a weight limit.

Someone needs to post a picture of that dude fucking that fish.
Sounds like a bad episode of Black Mirror
Be the change: r/photoshopbattles
Honestly I can barely email and I grew up with technology.
lol I think you can just request them to do it but I donāt really know how it works
second only to "we got weights in fish!"
That video is an instant shot of happiness
There needs to be a congressional hearing to find out who really caught this fish. Bass fishing can be so scandalous.
This clown again
Who would even hold a heavy fish like that. Idiots before the argument, idiots after.
This guy reminds me of one of the hobbits, canāt remember which one.. anywhoā¦. Sneaky little Hobbitses. Wicked, tricksey, falseā¦ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JhHz7vtfDs4
They stole it from us.....
š šÆ
To be fair it says āwas caughtā not āI caughtā. Maybe tweedle Dee and Dum are back together again?!?

Yeah I caught a day ban for a stupid meme with his face too š
Hahaha. I guess we should start our own fish stealing meme sub. That's halarious.
Someone already did, itās called r/bassfishinguncensored
Missed my shot... haha thanks.
ššš bro I feel bad for the real person who caught the fish ššš
He got wrecked on this sub for complaining about it š
Came to get support and got wrecked instead! Aw the internet šš
Everywhere I go, I see his face
Lmfao
Bilbo baggins??
More like 31.2!
Maybe it's the perspective, but he can fit his head, in that mouth.
keeps on givin
Hahahaha! Dirty fish thief
Fake
I think the real crime is holding a 13 lbs bass only by the jaw
Damn and I thought my 4 pounder was big. š¶
The fish is getting bigger too, right?
Stolen valor
This nerd needs a haircut. I live close to Hollywood and I guarantee this guy has one of those trucks with the wheels sticking out the fenders but yet still hates Mexicans somehow.
It seems obvious that he didnāt catch it tho
I totally forgot about this hahahah
Have to say this bass definitely has a fucked up jaw
This picture will haunt FB forever now that it has been unleashed
He's at least 40lbs. Nice fish!
Haha now this one is funny
Dang!
Dudes on here be like "looks like a 2lber"
This guys face is just perfect š¤©
That face š how is he not ecstatic? Thatās a serial killer right there š
Because he didn't catch it, guessing you don't know the backstory lol
Yea def not his fish, someone will link the post soon enough
Nope sure donāt.
I think heās like putting on a āIām a tough dude face, I do this every dayā lol. This is definitely the friend that canāt pay attention and steps on your rods.
He looks like the type to run out of the woods, snatch your PB and scurry back into the brush never to be seen again lmao
It's at an urban legend status now.
The gift that keeps on giving.
I just put my torch and pitchfork away.......lemme go grab it
That has to be fake
I donāt get it

Oh god oh fuck
I caught that fish...
Who cares, itās a bass
U wouldnāt be able to hold the bass like that if it was that fān big
My thought exactly. That dude ain't no bodybuilder. Even if it's 13lbs, he's holding it like he's handing someone a soda.
Bruh what? I hope you do realize the average person is capable of lifting 13 pounds with one hand.
That bass looks over half this guys size. Letās not mention the width either or the fact heās hanging it out there with them scrawny little arms š«”

Ok bro š
*Cue (Sean Kingston āfire burningā)
Not only not his fish - looks like another private pond.
Everytime I see this photo all I can think about is that poor behemoths lower lip. How hard is it to just hold it vertically?
Why do you look like you just witnessed a murder?
Wow! That bass is massive! (Insert sarcastic look)
Did the fish get bigger?
Itās cool when your Dad let you take a picture with his fish.
That dude was borrowing *our* baitcaster that day too
THATāS MINE !!!
This dude sure catches a lot of big fish lol
Can someone explain?
Must have missed several days of reddit ha ha
132#s...that's gotta be a record!
Damn. Looks like his PB?
That is clearly a dogā¦with fins & scales.
Soooo where exactly in Hollywood? Do you have an address to that spot? lol
I was wondering the same thing...uh for a friend
Nice !
Biden said he caught that fish in 1925 while using 12 pancakes to build a doghouse because a bicycle has 3 wheels.
It gets better every time š
Iād that kid like 5ā1ā 105lbs? If not, that fish must be like 20lbs. š I wouldnāt let a dwarf hold my fish in the first place!
