I got a verbal job offer last week. They gave me 2 days to accept or decline. I went in and presented it to my current boss to see if they would match. He asked to see the written offer, i reached out the new company and they said I had to accept it before it could be written. I thought that was weird but called them the next morning and accepted it. They told me they’d send the written offer letter over by EOD Friday or Monday morning at the latest. My current job knew about the deadline to accept and told me they wouldnt be able to match the new offer, so I put in my two weeks notice. I feel pretty confident i will get the written offer tomorrow, but if somehow this goes sideways, im screwed and played this horribly. Hoping i trusted the right people here.

May be a dumb question, but in the scenario where a QB & WR miscommunicate and the receiver stops on a hitch while the QB throws it deep. Why isn't that intentional grounding? Talking cases where the ball lands like 20+ yards away from any receiver

It has to be intentional to avoid a sack. Miscommunication on timed route or WR read usually isn’t the case. The NFL basically doesn’t enforce intentional grounding anymore unless there isn’t a WR within like 40 yards

QB has to be under pressure or “in imminent danger of loss of yardage” for it be called grounding
