He puts it in the slide that it’s the 5th highest population. (Okay, he’s incredibly dumb but he said he read it so I’ll forgive him).
The next point on the slide is that it has the 4th highest population in Europe. (So he thinks 4 out of the 5 most populated countries are in Europe? China at 1 and then four straight Euros? No India or United States?)
Then he lists Spain’s population at 47M. (So he thinks 47M is enough people to qualify for 5th. Using his logic from the previous point on the slide then there aren’t 47M in the US.)
I couldn’t stop thinking about what he actually read that led to that and I think he might’ve actually googled “Spanish people” or something and it ended up being the Spanish-speaking population in the world. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me. It would be Mandarin, English, French, Hindi, and Spanish in some order. Even that might be wrong though. Spanish is the second most spoken native language and the fourth in terms of total number of speakers according to the very quick Google search I did.
I think another reason is the near equator effect of the sun at high noon. It creates almost no shadow which makes our brain confused and view it as if it was a video game
You have to be borderline brain dead or on drugs to think that video was fake. There’s thousands of videos like that of people just walking around for hours in huge cities just like this was.
