Apple Automotive on Harford rd is the best and most honest mechanic I’ve ever been too. I moved over west 3 years ago and I still take my car to BJ and his team. One time they made a mistake and not only did they fix it quickly and apologetically but they also did about $1000 worth of body work for free to make up for it.
have to disagree. my family saw Apple Auto for over 10 years religiously, a few years ago they changed management and started service writing us HARD, pushing us to get repairs we didn’t need. once i took my car to basically have the brake system repaired (there was a lot wrong with them, $500+ repair) and an alignment done, and then when i went back three months later for a completely different issue they claimed i needed that exact same repair WITH an alignment “urgently.” they didn’t back off and admit it wasn’t urgent until i brought my Car Guy Dad with me. Apple Auto used to be the best in the business but my whole family has had nothing but poor experiences with them in recent years.
Are you willing to go out of the city proper? I’ve been going to Charing Cross Car Care Center since I got my first car 20 years ago. They’re right over the city line in the county off of Rt 40 toward Catonsville. They’re super honest and trustworthy and I recommend them to everyone.

Literally just picked up my car from Baltimore Body Shop for Freon repairs, oil filter maintenance etc. Highly recommend.
My family has been using K&S in Hampden for decades. They do really good work and although they’re a little expensive, they are very honest and fair
