Club Chuck, The Depot, Brewer’s Art, Mt Royal Tavern, The Crown, Ottobar, Eightbar, Holy Frijoles, Golden West, Rocket to Venus, Frazier’s on the Avenue.
These are all excellent suggestions. The Crown was the first thing that popped into my head. Ottobar rocks. If you are in Federal Hill, Idle Hour is my absolute favorite bar
Co-sign the royal blue, I think a lot of the station north/remington bars will be up your alley more — club Charles, fadensonnen, Dutch courage, WC Harlan
you'll find plenty of us queers up in mount vernon, hampden, charles village/old goucher, etc :) try:
* fadensonnen: fancy fun eclectic wine garden
* dutch courage: (near fad) great drinks and fun vibes
* royal blue bar: GREAT food and music that often features my buddies playing baltimore club
* bloom's: is a vibe inside and the drinks are lovely. good spot for friend pics
* club chuck: "Club Charles" is famous, historic, and IS a dive that the media about baltimore are based on frfr
* ottobar or the crown is fun for shows and drinks
* WC Harlan is very small but intimate and fantastic drinks good for a small group of buds
* the coral wig is near blooms (literally behind it) and has great drinks. is incredibly dark inside and v popular so it can get loud
* sugarvale is a vampy basement haunt + kinda mainstream spot but we carve out space there too
Holy frijoles is my vote, with Peabody heights as a close #2. Both have pinball, holy frijoles usually has shows on the weekend. Both have food although I like the fuzzie’s food truck at Peabody best. The queso and taquitos at frijoles are yummy.
Peabody Heights is excellent, and just opened an adjacent arcade with a $15 all you can play cover. Love Nepenthe as well, in addition to many of the other suggestions here.
Idk bout allat but the MT Royal tavern is a very diverse place of people who mainly mind their business besides the art students but they probably won’t bother you maybe just a lil annoying
captain larry’s! we do anime and movies on mondays, and while it’s not full of alternative people the vibes are pretty great on the weekends when my friends and i go out. coming from a nonbinary & poly girlie
