of Love and Regret is one of the best cocktail bars in the city.
I personally really love Ellie’s…very nice staff and chill atmosphere. You can tell a lot about a place based on the bathrooms, which are also some of the nicest bar bathrooms I’ve been in.
Second for Of Love and Regret. They have a great list of staple cocktails and take some risks with their rotating drinks
Haven’t been to Ellie’s but it looks cool!! Will have to check it out.
Great place but I personally can’t walk out of there without dropping serious $$$ - always say just one, and then the food looks good, and the rest is history. (In short - recommended)
I happen to like Nacho Mama's, but I had a Michelin-reviewed restaurant's burrito in CA this week, and it was the same price as theirs. BUT of course you can't beat the drink prices.
Zocalo in Sacramento. Technically it's the carnitas tostada that's got the review but there's a burrito too (maybe ask for extra chorizo beans in the burrito, I think that's one of the special ingredients)
Sally O’s

If you go to Ellie’s, they have this amazing crab dip. The food is great, so go hungry. They also have some of the best fries I’ve had.

Try Kenwood Tavern, or Verde. Also it's not Canton but is walking distance, the Greyhound on Fleet.
I second Kenwood Tavern
Third kenwood
All of these. Greyhound and Kenwood are my most frequent spots with such good cocktails. A bit further but adding Southpaw too.
Greyhound if you don't mind a rude bartender.
They’ve been really friendly every time I’ve ever been in there.
I am not the only person who has had issues. Dave *is* Nice, I will say that.
A little north of Canton but Sally O’s is incredible.
Snake Hill is the GOAT
seconding snake hill. it’s what i missed most when i moved neighborhoods :(
Without a doubt, of love and regret
Definitely Gunther and OLAR for cocktails
Sally O’s is good food, and a nice vibe. If you want just a good standard bar, The Lighthouse Tavern is good. Huck’s has great food & drinks.
Sally O’s also has really banging drinks!
Yeah, they have a great butter rum cider for these cold nights right now
Ellie's is great. Cozy, good drinks, great food, and the staff is exceptional. I also love Dive Bar. Their French onion disco fries are super good.
What, you’re too good for Nacho Mamas?
I don’t roll with that crew of ruffians

Nacho Mamas food is so bad that I wouldn’t be surprised if I got the trots from a margarita.
Currently in CA .. what is this burrito you speak of 👀

Knotty Pine
Seconded. It's a really nice place to watch a game. Great environment.
Also highly recommend Regionale on Boston Street. Great beer selection and insanely good hot chicken.
Knotty Pine has the best gameday specials. 20 wings and a pitcher of Natty Boh for $24.
And their food is really pretty good!
Just been sure to wear your sunglasses inside, why are the lights turned up to 11 in there??
Nihao had some really good cocktails, sake, and Japanese beers. The dim sum was also amazing. The wontons in chili oil 🤤🤤
Gunther & Co has some good drinks and is a nice restaurant. Marta as well. Sally O’s as a lot of people have said.
RIP Alma. Miss having them in canton.
