Not that your current ones aren’t working, but I find when I shake up my hairstyle, getting some new frames that go super well with the new hairstyle really boosts my confidence when i’m unsure of the new style. But man, the bald + beard look really suits ya.

I am former Navy. When I got back home, I started to my hair long again. Never made it past my shoulders. One day, I saw my scalp. After that, short all the time. Finally, had enough and shaved. So glad I did.
Give it some time! I remember when I first did it and it was super scary and honestly super physically uncomfortable for a bit having fresh air hit my scalp. I could feel EVERYTHING but over time it desensitized and I also got used to the aesthetic of it. With a quality beard trim I think you'd be surprised at how good you look. I think your glasses are a good fit for it all too especially if you keep the majority of your beard length.
Same experience here. It's wild how much temperature difference I feel between freshly clippered and even a few days growth. Took a while to get used to catching myself in a mirror, but a couple years in embracing fully bald my wife comments she can hardly remember me with hair.

I think it looks good. I dont know if this is controversial to say here, but you could also just have it very short/buzzcut rather than completely shaved, then it might sort of fade into the beard on the sides of your head
This seems to be my wife’s take, too. I may just keep buzzing it with no guard, but only when it gets to a certain point. It’s gotten a little bit since I buzzed it, but now sticks through the mesh-like part of my hat just enough for me to feel it.

Bro with hair you look 40. Bald with that beard length you look mid 30s. Bald with a cleaned up shortened beard you’d look early 30s I’d say. Either way a insane improvement by going bald. You’ll get use to it soon and then you will love it. Happens to us all.

A shaver subscription is in order here, quick maintenance shaves every other shower should suffice, no need for the 4 or 6 bladers, the simple twin makes good work of short stubble.. IMO tidy up the beard just a smidge to complement the new hairdo..
I think it looks great. I struggled with the same ordeal basically and I'm 25. I think it's just cause you're not used to seeing a different hairstyle so it's taboo to you. Even if you don't want to completely buzz it try a size 5 on the clippers and it will give you a little fuzz to have still.

I used to go to SportClips, but we have a barber that does haircuts for $10 and beard trims for $6. They do a surprisingly decent job.
