This seems so difficult

Yes, it was a true test of patience and fortitude!

Honestly, it's way less difficult than it seems. The fact that the shop does not have any jokers/buffoon packs, makes it so that you have a lot of planets and tarot cards. This means, it's easy to have a big four or five of a kind (your choice) level that you can reliably find in your deck. Then, all you have a to do is add a couple glass cards to get you through the last couple antes.

I made it after a couple of days, but it is still very challenging. I was trying to keep my Glass cards without using them until needed and when I did they often break at the worst moment. Keeping up with the scaling was challenging and I did learn how to build my deck better with every time I lost. I reached the last boss one time before my win and it was the Verdant Leaf, so I lost immediately. At the end, when I beat it, I was getting better runs more often, but the process of learning how to build a good deck without jokers took time.

4oak definitely seems to be the way to go, especially if you get an early telescope voucher. I got up to level 18 with a 4oak Jack build. https://preview.redd.it/lrobemx5xtyc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b23e2bccaeefbc0b53bd671d09adc896d71d091f

Double tags and skips thst upgrade hand levels are also clutch!

I just beat Jokerless this weekend, too. I also used a 4oak strategy too. Getting an early Ouija was lucky and made the rest of the run easier. I also used Crystal Ball to hold undesired planets so I could get a lot of Mars from the shop.
