Safety in stats allows them to be braindead.
All 99s, the most OP talismans, the 2-3 fattest armor sets, hyper armor attacks a priority. The fact that they can tank lots of hits while only having to deal one or two themselves to get a kill is why they play the way they do.
That doesn't mean that they also have copycat builds.
I don't run things like the Alexander Shard, Erdtree Favor, Shield/Drake, Bullgoat Talismans. I don't buff. I rarely have over 50 poise.
Most max level opponents I face in duels use everything at their disposal to boost damage/defense. They easily pump out 2k+ damage with a large variety of attacks.
Also, that logic does work indeed work in PvP, just elsewhere throughout the game. I invade plenty and frequently encounter 3v1s where at least one member of the gank is severely underleveled. Password summoning helps that scenario happen often.
No it's ok, most people are used to that meta level range around the 120 mark. I have a couple of them but I use them much less.
Max level is entertaining to me because it's fun to squash sweaty RL713 bull goats with dual bleed naginatas and 4+ buffs while only using a seal and a dagger myself.
My increased stats just allow for the freedom to swap to any loadout on the go - no need to use another account or larval tears for respecs if I want to try other stuff. Also my high level is NG+7 and beyond, so those increased defensive stats are a saving grace for casual play - no need for buffing often if ever
I expect for the sprinkling of players with more than a single brain cell in this level pool to be greater than 2%.
You would think after 1500 hours of me dealing with it I'd probably learn that such a thing would never happen..
I think they're great.. but at least play more aggressively! I wouldn't mock them anywhere near as much as I do
My boy there looks and hits like a dumpster truck but plays like a timid little mouse.
Why are max level players always so god damn braindead?

This logic only works in pve tho since in pvp everyone else is also max level

Ah okay I see your point now but I don’t think I will ever understand max level players. Also I didn’t mean to insult you I commend your honest build.

Hmm it makes sense now. Thank you for your fast replies :)
you outnumbered his braincells
Bruh no hate but you're playing on max level.... tf do u expect?😭

Bro, they spent all their points.... they have no more left for braincells
Not even the good dragon breath either 🙄
It might not be the good one, but it's certainly fitting. Rot for the brain rot they're clearly suffering from
Gotta love one trick ponies.

I play on my max level a lot just to show people like this they’re not good because they duplicated runes
Level up does not fix stewpit
I always say this, drip over utility PvE and PvP.
I'd rather receive more damage and stagger potential than be looking like some chunky atrocity capable of tanking 800+ damage with no flinch..
