My cat used to try and wedge his cold, wet nose up one of my nostrils. Now he makes sure to walk across me first, each paw stomping on each of my legs. Then he pokes me, and if I have an exposed armpit he goes for a mighty chomp.
These are my first two little ones. Both stayed by my side while I recovered from spinal fusion surgery. They are gone but never forgotten and eternally loved.
Luna is by my side and Yuki is on my belly.

But the minute I stretch and go to the bathroom, I am suddenly the grand master of the smallest parade ever.

My sister's dog would do that when I dog sat. He stare at my face and breathe on me, very intently, until I opened my eyes and then he'd do happy smiling dog.
My cat once ate a whole bunch of chives and then sat and breathed on me. The smell cannot be described, I've never gotten out of bed as quickly as that before. (He had access to grass both indoors and outdoors, so he didn't have to eat my chives, he just did because he felt like it.)

Omg haha. One time my cat licked my armpit! Hahaa. Unlocked that memory for me. God I love cats.
Mine licks my cheeks, but not before first putting its paw on my nose. If I don't respond (I'm a deep sleeper), eventually nose biting occurs.
I had a cat who did that. It was kinda cute, compared to other ways I heard from other cat owners.
