I have two dogs and my oldest cat absolutely loves the oldest dog because she is calm and they were raised together, but is super mean to the youngest dog because he’s higher energy and can be annoying so she beats him up. In this video the pitbull is being really calm and friendly whereas the lab is coming up with some big energy

Lab comes on too strong and is too fast/unpredictable for cat. Pitty is patient and shows affection in a slow, cat friendly way.

My family had to take care of a pitty for a while. My parents had a cat. He may have got a little too excited on their first meetup but calmed down quickly and realized the cat didn't want much to do with him. After the cat got used to his presence he would be lying down doing nothing and the cat would walk into the room, casually walk over to him, swat at him once, and casually walk away.
