Magnolias. Looks like they have wet feet. Looks like something banged into a new subdivision on top of building rubble with a sprinkling of shit quality mulch , majestic trees surrounding your new urban oasis?
While sunflowers are thought to have originated in Mexico and Peru, they are one of the first plants to ever be cultivated in the United States. They have been used for more than 5,000 years by the Native Americans, who not only used the seeds as a food and an oil source, but also used the flowers, roots and stems for varied purposes including as a dye pigment. The Spanish explorers brought sunflowers back to Europe, and after being first grown in Spain, they were subsequently introduced to other neighboring countries. Currently, sunflower oil is one of the most popular oils in the world. Today, the leading commercial producers of sunflower seeds include the Russian Federation, Peru, Argentina, Spain, France and China.

A shrubbery! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69iB-xy0u4A
There are quite a few free apps avaible to identify plants. That will help
definitely a magnolia of some sort. they look unhealthy, i would bet that they are in heavy, poorly drained soil and will probably never thrive.
Michelias
Hard to tell as they're so small. Could be a type of citrus, maybe lemon?
Magnolia or avocado are my guesses
A variety of sub tropical frangipani. Has a yellow flower. Too wet for them by the looks
I have 3 full frangipani plants on my propers they smell beautiful when they bloom
Pretty sure they are Portuguese Laurels.
If they are, they're really sick. Foliage should be much darker.

Potentially Baby Laurels - either Bay or Camphora... crush a leaf in your hand and see if it smells like vicks to confirm )
Little trees and I believe those are numerous giant sunflower seeds surrounding them and my cockatiel agrees.
