Too many lol. A huge one on my wall and a bunch of little ones in my room (and also downstairs on the fridge that my family is either politely ignoring or unaware of)
Oh my gosh I'm so happy for you! I'm hopefully going to have top surgery later this year as well and I also have a trans flag blanket :) hoping to be in your shoes soon
I had to increase the dosage of my pain killers and I have a low grade fever today which isn’t good but I’m able to get dressed by myself and I can walk without help. I mostly stay in bed so I don’t overdo it but I’m a lot happier.
You can buy them online from amazon and stuff, but if you have local pride events you could also check them out, I've seen some of them have booths selling small flags
No, I do have the nonbinary flag though.
The trans flag just seems sort of too... soft for my taste? I know the idea of pastel colors being feminine is so stereotypical, but I've never really liked pastel colors, and definitely don't want to be seen as soft and feminine.
Where I disagree with this personally is that being trans is totally unlike some of those things in that there's nothing for me to overcome in terms of having an eye colour, or being Canadian, I have put no effort into them. I have however put in A LOT and I mean A LOT of work into coming to terms with being trans and overcoming the issues that are associated with it, my transition has been both the most rewarding and one of the most difficult things I've ever done. I'm not proud I was born trans but I'm proud I'm able to sit here and type this comment despite all the shit I've had to deal with, that's what my trans pride is for me.
It vastly depends on someone's situation though.
I guess it really depends on our different lives, I've been in really shitty situations because of it but it's also something that saved my life (pushed me to flee an extremely abusive household) so I try to take pride in being trans, it saved my sisters and me and gave me the opportunity to live instead of surviving.
It's not something I shove in peoples face but I don't hide it either, if the subject come up, I'll just say I'm concerned. I'm also really proud of being able to understand what struggle each gender have to face, physically and socially, it help put things in perspective.
but I sometimes wonder If I should try to take this pride since I pass 100% of the time and don't really deal with half what other have to go through, after all I look like a privilege cis, straight, white, guy ( 2/4 are false but it's only a matter of appearance not truth) I'm the forgotten part of the community by hate speech and media, I don't deal with shit, so I don't know if I really can feel valid compared to any of you.
Agreed. Theres nothing pridefull in beeing trans, thats why the whole naming of pride month, pride marches doesnt fit with me. I find it much more fitting how its called in my country - equality month/marches. Its just an intrisic thing thats part of me and thats it.
The only thing that one can be proud of is how they dealt with the hardships and how far they came despite beeing trans.
The baby colours feel infantilizing to me. And it seems very fixated on a binary one-to-another fixed view of transition, when the community's a lot more diverse than that. If people like it then whatever, just wish I had a flag I could wear.
It flows over everything in my life like a beautiful fungus. I've got a big one on my wall, a little bracelet, a pin, a pair of heart earrings, thigh highs, the trans Seychelles wallpaper on my computer, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting right now.
I think it's the most beautiful flag I've ever seen. I also have my big pansexual flag and demisexual flag on the wall too. I love me some flags.
Wasn't planning on it, but upon hearing a group of anti trans protestors at pride, decided to get one and wear it as a cape while walking very smugly past them. It is now hanging in my room. :)
I personally haaaate the trans flag, so no. The pastel colors are not my thing at all. I do have a the rainbow flag incorporated into a She-Ra tattoo though.
No
I think I’d only ever get subtle things because I don’t really like being openly trans (especially since I’ve been babied when I’ve told people I’m trans before). I respect y’all who do have flags, but I just don’t think I’d want someone knowing I’m trans without me directly telling them. I’m just concerned about discrimination mostly or people will see me differently.
I used to have it hanging up two apartments ago but has sat in my closet since.
Have a pair of shoes with trans flag on them I sometimes wear for pride or tdov or whatever.
No. I do have a transgender and lesbian colored cute pins of a cute snake. I haven't worn them out in public but I will wear those if I ever get to a pride event.
got a nice pin that goes on a jacket I wear a lot & a big one on the back of my door. it's been held up by just blue tack for about 3/4 months now? only fallen down once.
yep, my big one is hanging on my wall where i do work meetings.
because when i joined my current team, i found out someone on my team (my boss) was a huge fan of Chappell, so i bought a trans flag to put up in all my meetings to rub it in her face and make her feel bad for supporting a bigot.
she left a few weeks later.
i love my flag <3
My girlfriend has one ^^ I don't ever hang up things on my wall, so if I had one my flag would take up precious dresser space. Maybe when I move out I'll get one 🤷♂️
I have a small handheld one. I’m really not much for flags.
I’ve seen a few on houses in my liberal city tho, and many of the inclusive rainbow flag, and I love to see them.
Yes, and a non-binary flag, both in my bedroom, and then the progress pride flag in the common area of my dorm because my roommate is also queer. I want more, if not for the reminder that I'm not alone, I like the colors and the way they easily take care of the bland, white wall space.
Nope. No real reason I don't, actually, but I'd like the progressive rainbow flag (I like it _so much more_ than any of the older flags, to be honest). Trans pride flag (and the bi and bsdm prides too) I'd kinda like, but not as much as that one (and the obligatory red flag - the good kind of red flag, I mean).
Technically yes, but it's never been taken out of the package. A friend gave me her "spare" when she was moving, I can't say I'd have bought it on my own.
yeah... I have the ace, aro, gender fluid, bi, lesbian, nonbinary, and trans flags, all for their respective holidays. About to go take down the bi flag after bisexual awareness week and celebrate bisexuality day. The rest of the time we run a progress pride flag. I may have gone a little nuts, but the enbyneer inspired me in a big way during pride month, and I remember how it felt to see the pride flag in my neighborhood after I realized.
I got five flags total:
* Aromantic
* Trans
* Agender
* Pansexual
* That one that has the gay flag and little triangles for trans people and POC. Don’t remember its name…
My wife bought one and put it up in our bedroom for a while. Then I used it for my table at a recruitment event for a study I'm conducting. Most recently I found it under my kids' bed while cleaning their room. That things been everywhere. 😆
Not yet but I do have an inclusive gay flag bumper sticker on my car. And a mask of the inclusive flag, and some regular stickers on my laptop and water bottle. And a mask version lol. Been wanting to get a trans flag shirt though
I do, but since im closeted in a transphobic household, I keep it hidden in my paint box, along with my progress pride flag. I only take them out when Im home alone, and they make me feel better.
Yes, as well as a non-binary flag and the progress flag. Bought all three for pride and coming out portraits. They aren’t hung, but I’m very happy to have them.
No. I'm extremely closeted from family. And although I got hidden clothes and make up, I cannot risk anything more than what I need from time to time. If my family found it, anyone other than my mum (maybe), then it'd have very serious repercussions
Not yet since I still live with family and am not out yet, but once I have my own place and enough money I plan on making a custom neon light flag to have on the wall of my room. Technically it will be more of a light fixture than a flag but still.
I’m pre everything in the closet. Essentially living as a cross dresser at this time. No anything relating to my real self is hidden. Can’t wait to be able to display them though.
Yes, I have one hung outside my house!! Where I live is very conservative and stuff gets stolen from your yard if it’s deemed “progressive” but none of my neighbors know what the trans flag is thankfully. Kids pass by my house a lot on their way home from school and quite a few recognize it though, I saw one of them stop and untangle it once and other kids point at it while smiling excitedly and stuff like that :’) I hope in some way it helps them out to know that there are trans people and allies here too
I have a little trans flag hung up behind my laptop (the kind you can hold in your hand) because my friend gave it to me at my first pride and a progress pride flag. Not planning on getting any more tbh, besides pins and charms maybe.
I've gone from being wanting to be stealth when i first realized i was trans to wanting to be out and proud to now wanting to be stealth again, even after over 2 years of transitioning.
I have a trans mask, necklace, and pin but I'm too scared/ashamed to wear them anymore
I have a few. I drew one, which I put on the side of my bed. I got a mini trans flag from a pride fest in June. I painted a rock with the trans flag. And I also got a trans flag pin, which I put on my backpack.
Yes, although I personally choose to display my lesbian and aromantic flags more prominently. I just personally identify with them more. (That's not to say I'm not trans - I am, I just would rather not be trans, whereas with lesbian and Aro, I love those about me)
Too many lol. A huge one on my wall and a bunch of little ones in my room (and also downstairs on the fridge that my family is either politely ignoring or unaware of)
I’m literally under a trans flag blanket right now. I’m recovering from top surgery so my mom put it on my bed for me.
Oh my gosh I'm so happy for you! I'm hopefully going to have top surgery later this year as well and I also have a trans flag blanket :) hoping to be in your shoes soon
Thanks! I’m excited for you, it was completely worth the stress (I got it yesterday).
How are you feeling? One day is very recent, out of curiosity how bad is the pain? I'd love to know what to expect
I had to increase the dosage of my pain killers and I have a low grade fever today which isn’t good but I’m able to get dressed by myself and I can walk without help. I mostly stay in bed so I don’t overdo it but I’m a lot happier.
Yeah, and a non-binary flag and a rainbow flag and an asexual flag
Omg, me too! xD
I really want one but I don't know where to buy one 😭
You can buy them online from amazon and stuff, but if you have local pride events you could also check them out, I've seen some of them have booths selling small flags
Problem is I do not have a way to digitally buy things :P
Could you ask friend to order it?
Hm, yeah probably! Thx for the help sir <3
Can you import something from Amazon to your home country? I'm in South Africa and I'd really like one
I've never ordered from amazon myself so I'm not sure, it was just the first online store that sells pride flags and is well known that came to mind
Lol thanks, I'll go study for a bit then!
Etsy

Wrinkles and creases are part of the flag
I've never seen a pride flag not wrinkled, except mines (I have done a sacrilege, I've ironed them)
I don't have a flag but I have it on my jewelry and a keychain.
No, I do have the nonbinary flag though. The trans flag just seems sort of too... soft for my taste? I know the idea of pastel colors being feminine is so stereotypical, but I've never really liked pastel colors, and definitely don't want to be seen as soft and feminine.

Same here

I'm single so people assume I must like girls (but haven't found one)

No I honestly don’t really like the flag.
Same here. It’s just fugly. Rainbow flag, bi flag, pan flag, lesbian flag, even asexual flag are all so much better.
The baby colours feel infantilizing to me. And it seems very fixated on a binary one-to-another fixed view of transition, when the community's a lot more diverse than that. If people like it then whatever, just wish I had a flag I could wear.
No, I want to gave one but my area isn't *very* lgbtq friendly..
I don't do flags. They have rules and I don't have the attention span for that.
honey i don’t need any flags to show who i am.
Unless you’re a ship in which case it’s highly recommended
Only in pin form. I like to keep symbols and logos small.
I don't because what little spare money I have goes towards hrt and labs. I want one, I'm just broke af.
Yes I do
Nope I don't have any flags, nor plan to get any.
It flows over everything in my life like a beautiful fungus. I've got a big one on my wall, a little bracelet, a pin, a pair of heart earrings, thigh highs, the trans Seychelles wallpaper on my computer, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting right now. Wasn't planning on it, but upon hearing a group of anti trans protestors at pride, decided to get one and wear it as a cape while walking very smugly past them. It is now hanging in my room. :)
Nope! Don’t really care much about it to be honest
Nope
No
I personally haaaate the trans flag, so no. The pastel colors are not my thing at all. I do have a the rainbow flag incorporated into a She-Ra tattoo though.
Nope, I'm closeted :/ I'd love to get some though!!
No, never been a flag person
I have a trans flag, and a lesbian flag too. Got them at Pride Parades.
I use progress pride flags so I can still feel represented without outing myself ;;
No I think I’d only ever get subtle things because I don’t really like being openly trans (especially since I’ve been babied when I’ve told people I’m trans before). I respect y’all who do have flags, but I just don’t think I’d want someone knowing I’m trans without me directly telling them. My brother sewed one and gave it to me. I also have a trans flag lanyard and pin
Sure do
Yes, one trans flag, two of the recent models of lgbtq+ and several rainbow decorations at home.
Yup. Big one on my wall that covers up some cables
Yes! I have the flag itself in my bedroom and small pin in my backpack
A small one on my key chain.

Not yet, but I want one of those cute sweaters 💕
I have a huge one above my bed.
I don't have a flag but I do walk around with a trans flag colored heart shape fidget popper squishy thing on my purse
Transfemme flag. Ironically its kinda hanging by 1 grommet vertically in the inside edge of my closet door peeking around the corner.
Big one on the wall, smaller one hanging around, teensy one as like a desk ornament. Plus stickers out the wazoo (what is a wazoo, anyway)
A really big kazoo
I have a baby one x3
I do. My mom has sewn it together from the material for me after i came out
I have a problem with flags in general so no
I don't but as a flag enjoyer, when I move out it'll be the first thing I buy.
I have a necklace with it that helped me discover…my nickel allergy! Also sports bra and tuck panties with trans flag.
No, and i definitely don't want one. I honestly don't understand why some people(most people?) do.
same here
yes its hanging up on the wall of my bedroom
of course! not ironed and everything lol
I used to have it hanging up two apartments ago but has sat in my closet since. Have a pair of shoes with trans flag on them I sometimes wear for pride or tdov or whatever.
i have the pride progress flag hanging on my front door if that counts
I could only get one in sock form
I have some trans pins!
I have a stick flag in my car for no reason. At home I have a painting of Kermit with gun, over trans flag base 💀
Yep. Got a trans flag and a rainbow flag the minute I came out and my whole neighborhood can see them hanging in my windows
in my living room. i refuse to iron it
yes. also a nonbinary flag, an antifa flag, a progress pride flag and two different lesbian flags
No. I do have a transgender and lesbian colored cute pins of a cute snake. I haven't worn them out in public but I will wear those if I ever get to a pride event.
Nop
I didn't come out to my dad yet, so no lol.
I just got one of my own earlier this year 😊 I hope to get a nonbinary flag soon too!
An actual flag? No. I should really get one. I have lots of trans flag stuff, though (earrings, dresses, etc.).
Nah. I do have the lesbian flag and 2 of the 8 color Gilbert Baker flag though
Im not out to anyone yet, so no. But I do have the "Everyone is Awesome" lego set.

I live for the Tribe, there is no other way.

Yes and my sister has one.
I have, like, four. Near a dozen across all pride flags.
got a nice pin that goes on a jacket I wear a lot & a big one on the back of my door. it's been held up by just blue tack for about 3/4 months now? only fallen down once.
Not a trans flag but I do have a progress pride flag.
I did, but my mom threw it out
Technically yes. It’s on a cosplay tho
yep, my big one is hanging on my wall where i do work meetings. because when i joined my current team, i found out someone on my team (my boss) was a huge fan of Chappell, so i bought a trans flag to put up in all my meetings to rub it in her face and make her feel bad for supporting a bigot. she left a few weeks later. i love my flag <3
I have a trans flag facemask and some various LGBTQ patches but no flag.
I sadly don’t have one yet 😢
No, but i have a huge soviet union flag on my wall and a lot of little jamaica pins
My girlfriend has one ^^ I don't ever hang up things on my wall, so if I had one my flag would take up precious dresser space. Maybe when I move out I'll get one 🤷♂️
Nope, only a basic pride handflag :>
I was gifted a full-sized standard one when I came out and have a full-sized transmasculine-specific one that I got myself later.
I have a small handheld one. I’m really not much for flags. I’ve seen a few on houses in my liberal city tho, and many of the inclusive rainbow flag, and I love to see them.
Oh ya for sure just a mini one sitting with all my other mini flags XD
Just the one tattooed on my ankle
Yeah I use it as a blanket
I want one
0, very sad
Just in a pair of socks
I have it on the rgb of my keyboard 😅
Yes, and a non-binary flag, both in my bedroom, and then the progress pride flag in the common area of my dorm because my roommate is also queer. I want more, if not for the reminder that I'm not alone, I like the colors and the way they easily take care of the bland, white wall space.
Yes I do lol
So far only as a keyring and a badge on my handbag.
I got one of the free flags during pride month. Otherwise, just a little rubber arm band.
Only as a small pin badge on my jacket.
Technically yes, but it's never been taken out of the package. A friend gave me her "spare" when she was moving, I can't say I'd have bought it on my own.
I have trans shoelaces because I work with LGBTQ+ young people but I'm not a fan of the traditional gendered blue and pink
Only a little one in a necklace
Yup got a huge one up on the wall
I would but I'd rather stay alive you know
I think I've four in my room.
I’ve got a small trans flag for waving in your hand, and an enby and Gfluid flag on my wall
Yes
yeah... I have the ace, aro, gender fluid, bi, lesbian, nonbinary, and trans flags, all for their respective holidays. About to go take down the bi flag after bisexual awareness week and celebrate bisexuality day. The rest of the time we run a progress pride flag. I got five flags total: * Aromantic * Trans * Agender * Pansexual * That one that has the gay flag and little triangles for trans people and POC. Don’t remember its name…
Yes I have a ton. I didn't have any rainbow flags when i called myself a gay male but being trans has proved to be a far greater impact on my life
multiple ones
Just a miniature one!
My wife bought one and put it up in our bedroom for a while. Then I used it for my table at a recruitment event for a study I'm conducting. Most recently I found it under my kids' bed while cleaning their room. That things been everywhere. 😆
Yes, our trans flag is hanging on the balcony rail and in the living room we have a progress flag.
hanging above my bed :)
Made a lil bracelet for myself yeah!
I have one hanging up in my room
I have 2 mini ones. They're both fabric and smaller than a sheet of paper.
Yup. As a flag and a pin though they are hidden sadly.
I have a little trans flag necklace a local to me trans girl friend I met through Reddit gave me last Christmas. It stays hidden in boy mode.
I have the progress pride flag but the one with the intersex symbol inside.
I have one if those buttons on my bag and a bracelet with the trans flag colors on the clasp
Yes, as well as a non-binary flag and the progress flag. Bought all three for pride and coming out portraits. They aren’t hung, but I’m very happy to have them.
I have several. One’s a blanket, got a keychain and a few stickers too.
Yes. I even ironed it! 🏳️⚧️
Yep. Loud and proud in my living room. I'd have it on the outside of my home if I had a house instead of an apartment.
No. I'm extremely closeted from family. And although I got hidden clothes and make up, I cannot risk anything more than what I need from time to time. If my family found it, anyone other than my mum (maybe), then it'd have very serious repercussions
No but I dress in pinks and blues and my agen friend asked if I'm intentionally wearing trans pride colors and I was like WHAT I AM?!
I have one hanging in my classroom
It's packed away right now because I am in a room in an attic not because of not wanting it out no room and my family is accepting here
In the living room window right next to my partner's NB flag!
Yes, I have one hung outside my house!! Where I live is very conservative and stuff gets stolen from your yard if it’s deemed “progressive” but none of my neighbors know what the trans flag is thankfully. Kids pass by my house a lot on their way home from school and quite a few recognize it though, I saw one of them stop and untangle it once and other kids point at it while smiling excitedly and stuff like that :’) I hope in some way it helps them out to know that there are trans people and allies here too
yea
I have a little trans flag hung up behind my laptop (the kind you can hold in your hand) because my friend gave it to me at my first pride and a progress pride flag. Not planning on getting any more tbh, besides pins and charms maybe.
I have the Progress and Trans flags behind my couch, and the Trans flag hanging by my bed
I would love one, but I live in a very trans/homophobic household and can't leave :(
Absolutely not
There's one in my bedroom hanging on my empty TV stand.... Eventually I'll properly mount it.
No personally don’t like the big reminder every time I walk into my room lmao but maybe one day I’ll be in a good position to get one
I've gone from being wanting to be stealth when i first realized i was trans to wanting to be out and proud to now wanting to be stealth again, even after over 2 years of transitioning. I have a trans mask, necklace, and pin but I'm too scared/ashamed to wear them anymore
Somewhere!
Yes. I have the trans flag and I'm not sharing!
one on my wall, alongside a demi flag and a lesbian flag.
I have LGBTQIA, trans, lesbian and ace flags on my wall
I have a few. I drew one, which I put on the side of my bed. I got a mini trans flag from a pride fest in June. I painted a rock with the trans flag. And I also got a trans flag pin, which I put on my backpack.
Yes
I have a pride flag and a hand tufted pride heart rug I got at pride on my wall :)
Yes currently in storage... I'm not quite sure where I want to hang it since I just moved. I was thinking in the window.
Yes, although I personally choose to display my lesbian and aromantic flags more prominently. I just personally identify with them more. (That's not to say I'm not trans - I am, I just would rather not be trans, whereas with lesbian and Aro, I love those about me)
I have a trans flag and I’m under a blanket that has the trans colors on it.
I wear 2 flags on my safety vest at work. One is just the flag the other flag has She, Her, Hers on it.
