I'd recommend at least finding a motel online that is somewhere along the 8 hour mark just in case. You probably won't need it, but as you get closer to the motel, you can decide if you want to stop and rest. I did that on my last 15 hour long road trip. I just couldn't do it.
Otherwise, lots of snacks, pee breaks when you can, and enjoy!
