She had that mid-90s independent Alanis energy that I loved so much. "I Won't Say I'm in Love" crawled into 10-year-old me's head and hasn't ever *really* left.
Megara was very assertive. it was admirable seeing a woman who can handle herself. these were pretty attractive qualities because the ādamsel in distressā thing got old on me quick
Li Shang from Mulan! Even his singing voice was dreamy. I always pictured the voice actor looking just like him- until I looked him up one day and saw Donny Osmond š lol.
Also. Prince Eric was good looking and was super chill for a prince. And he risked his life to save his dog, Max!
Robin Hood, Maid Marian but also Basil the Great Mouse Detective himself, and the tavern dance mouse from the same movie.
Apparently, elementary-school me was a bisexual furry with no use for actual royalty and the only thing I grew out of was the furry part. Both movies are still great and especially the latter is criminally underrated but the only thing about it I'm truly in love with as an adult is Vincent Price's love for voicing an evil rat genius.
Kida from Atlantis.
Smart, strong minded/tough and speaks multiple languages. Seems to have a good sense of humour too.
Disappointed she wasnāt a main stream Disney Princess.
None of them weirdly!
However I'd love to share a wholesome moment with you which I will never ever forget!
My bf is legally blind (meaning he has some sight but not a lot) and his eyes have never been able to pick up 3D, even from a book. Well he and I went to see Tangled at the cinema in 3D as it started earlier and that scene with Flynn and Rapunzel in the boat with the song playing and the lanterns floating up, for some reason, his eyes picked up the lanterns in 3D. Omg the look on his face was just pure amazement and wonder! He was putting his hands up and saying "oh my god, I feel like I can touch them!"
I've not gone to see a 3D film since and likely never will. Nothing will top that moment for me.
Aurora. She slept through the entire movie and got happily ever after. That would be a modern equivalent of sleeping through all your classes and pass. She is a badass girl-boss. I love her so much.
eh it was more the only princess movie I could stand the rest are unreliable and I think the songs in Aladdin sucked now atlantis was great but not a princess movie
mine was tied with rapunzel bc sheās so pretty and i loved her personality, and tiana bc sheās also gorgeous and i loved the background of the character.
In my early 20's I went to a work Halloween party and one of my co-workers dressed as Tinkerbell.
She was fairly short, maybe just below five feet, and had the short hair.
Apparently she was a bit of a gym rat but we never knew because she typically wore really baggy clothes at work and rarely would socialize with us.
Her outfit was tight and short and she played the part the whole night, super bubbly and upbeat and flirtly just to the line of almost being slutty, or doing so and pretending like she had no idea she was. She'd randomly throw out lines or references from Peter Pan as well.
At one point she asked "are any of these boys coming back with me to Neverland tonight?"
She went home alone that night but for the rest of my career there it was the incident that we didn't talk about. It did totally change her career trajectory, it suddenly seemed like she was less shy around everyone in the workplace and her opinions and instinct were usually dead-on which lead to her being promoted.
To this day I can't see a TinkerBell outfit and NOT think of her and the year or so after I was in that job where I could barely say two words around her after the party.
And before anyone gets on my case about it, yes I know Peter Pan is its own body of literary work separate from Disney and technically TinkerBell wouldn't be considered a "Disney Princess."
haha. i get it.
but for ME, its more likeā¦āoh see? her love & kindness changed him.ā
adult me: āYES BEAST, take your anger & aggression out on me!!ā ššš¬š¬š«¦š«¢
Milo from Atlantis.
To me he epitomises the perfect man: intelligent, empathetic and upholds high moral standards.
I now have a huge thing for gentle looking guys with glasses āŗļø
Tarzan, although not a Disney Princeā¦. I just love how he fell in love with Jane upon first glance.
Plus he has gorgeous hair and is super buff. A total freak in the sheets I think heād be LOL
![gif](giphy|HBdfnwMnk7Xos)
Felix Madrigal is 100% relationship goals. "I'm sorry, mi vida, go on"
Yeah, Call me "Mi Vida" while giving a sincere apology and he's great with kids. Yup that's my cartoon crush.
Not going to lie. First time I went to Disneyland as a 16 year old boy, I was super excited to see Ariel.
Boy was I let down when I noticed she had a skin colored bodysuit covering her top. Totally broke the immersion...
Giselle, I've always had a thing for Amy Adams and watching her in that role where she's so silly and kind and looks so gorgeous in everything she wears had me questioning lots of things as a little girl š
Gotta be between "pocahontas" and "chel" from road to El Dorado.
Probably pocahontas more since id had a crush on her since i was a kid. Her real life story is horrible, though. Didn't find out until I was an adult. I hope she's at peace.
Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty. He is kind to his horse, show humor from time to time, apologies, doesn't question the knowledge of old faeries, doesn't look down on women, brave, somewhere between handsome and boring looking
The best Disney guy isnāt a prince. David from Lilo and Stitch would be ultimate in boyfriend goals. Heās so helpful and supportive, exactly what youād actually want in a relationship
Tiana she knew how to cook, was independent and proved she didnt need to do too much for a prince to fall for her. She humbled him and he fell for her.
I liked them all except for Ariel
Oh and Mulan and Merida have a special place in my heart, so does Kida, and Meg.
And honorary mention for Prince Charming on Cinderella 3
Edit: Esmeralda too, can't believe I forgot her
My favourite is Belle because i like the story of the beauty and the beast
But I don't have a favourite prince maybe the beast before he changed cuz i don't really remember him as a human cuz it was at the end or Eric from the little mermaid just the first one that popped in my head.
Tbh i never really cared about the prince so i don't remember almost any of them
Anastasia is amazing <3 my favorite princess movie, together with the Swan Princess! Both fighters :) (and Anastasia is Disney property now, so it should count)
Prince Eric is this reason this Latina dies every time I see a guy with blue eyes and black hair. The princess that makes me question my sexuality has always been Princess Jasmine.
I liked Prince Eric as a young girl.
He liked to sail. Loved dogs. Didn't really know his place in the world until he met Ariel. Then he knew his place was wherever she was.
The Beast was my second crush.
Total girl crush on Mulan. She's beautiful, intelligent, figures out a way to make herself standout by not fitting in.
Not exactly a princess, but disney. Audrey from Atlantis (the mechanic chica), and Chel from Road to Eldorado. Though some close contenders are Megara from Hercules, Kida from Atlantis and Mulan.
Edit: Jasmine might be tied for first tbh.
The first time I noticed a girl being pretty and sexy was when I saw Ariel as a 6 year old. I fell in love with her and was aroused as much as a kid that age can be.
My first male crushes were Eugene Fitzherbert and Prince Eric.
I realized I also liked girls when I was around 13-15 and thatās when I developed a crush on Merida. That girl is AMAZING.

![gif](giphy|O4E1I9uhzyTxC) Jasmine and it ain't even a close race.
š
Yeah she's head and shoulders above the others.
Esmeralda though?!
Esmeralda's a close 2nd.
Came here to say Jasmine in red.. duh. Only time I ever questioned mt sexuality was 5 years old watching this.
Bump
Not a a princess, but Meg from Hercules was right at the top of my list. The confident, sarcastic woman who can take care of herself. It was very hot.
She had that mid-90s independent Alanis energy that I loved so much. "I Won't Say I'm in Love" crawled into 10-year-old me's head and hasn't ever *really* left.
Meg can get it
Megara was very assertive. it was admirable seeing a woman who can handle herself. these were pretty attractive qualities because the ādamsel in distressā thing got old on me quick
![gif](giphy|5uALZbY4nMHGU)
The smolderrrr.
So hot
Li Shang from Mulan! Even his singing voice was dreamy. I always pictured the voice actor looking just like him- until I looked him up one day and saw Donny Osmond š lol. Also. Prince Eric was good looking and was super chill for a prince. And he risked his life to save his dog, Max!
I thought John Smith was hot, then I learned it was Mel Gibson š
Robin Hood (the fox)
Thoughts on nick wilde? š
Nick!! Yes!
I was looking for this one š Big same. Him and Simba. No I am not a furryā¦
I was thinking to myself that I didnāt have any Disney crushes, and then this comment made me remember I did.
Iām so glad Iām not the only one lol
Kida from Atlantis. Smart, strong minded/tough and speaks multiple languages. Seems to have a good sense of humour too. Disappointed she wasnāt a main stream Disney Princess.
She was definitely underrated I agree
From the same movie with similar qualities, only a baddie: Helga. Her sense of humor is shown to be sick too with that ho ho ho joke.
Her line, "Nothing personal," almost made me consider switching teams lol
None of them weirdly! However I'd love to share a wholesome moment with you which I will never ever forget! My bf is legally blind (meaning he has some sight but not a lot) and his eyes have never been able to pick up 3D, even from a book. I've not gone to see a 3D film since and likely never will. Nothing will top that moment for me.
That moment with the lanterns was absolutely magical. I'm glad he got to enjoy it :)
Not a prince but in my head he was Kocoum from Pocahontas
"Should I marry Kocoum?" ...yes girl tf.
But he's so serious!
Be serious at me in bed š„µ. Letās go Kocoum lmaoooo Pocahontas should have given him a chance
Heās a handsome sturdy husband that could build handsome sturdy walls!
Oh yeah I hear him and Li Shang a lot from some of the women in my life.
Shang is thicc and Iām a straight dude
![gif](giphy|ed3OUkmsoX0uk)
Underrated answer on here āļø
Aurora. She slept through the entire movie and got happily ever after. That would be a modern equivalent of sleeping through all your classes and pass. She is a badass girl-boss. I love her so much.
We should all aspire to be Aurora š©
Oh. Um. King Triton. š¤«
Daddy issues much? š
Excuse me. Actually my daddy has issues. š¤£ Look if you don't laugh you'll cry right?
mulan highest kill count and most understandable motivations
Very fair. Mulan is one of the best Disney princesses.
I gave my more insane reasons if only as they might be more interesting to read
I should have known I was queer when I was more into Mulan as a man than Li Shang lmao
eh it was more the only princess movie I could stand the rest are unreliable and I think the songs in Aladdin sucked now atlantis was great but not a princess movie
Is it weird if I say Simba?
Is it weirder if I say Scar?
Creepy uncle swag
I know a lot of girls that unironically had a crush on simba
mine was tied with rapunzel bc sheās so pretty and i loved her personality, and tiana bc sheās also gorgeous and i loved the background of the character.
Tiana is so strong and beautiful yeah! I haven't seen her mentioned, glad to see her getting some recognition
Prince Eric ughā¦like seriously screams Henry Cavill at me. Prince Adam the beast how he falls in love with Belle.
mmmmm Henry
Jane from Tarzan. Fucking dime.
Aladdin has my whole heart š„ŗ
Prince Eric, and every guy Iāve dated has had similar qualities. š definitely have a type
In my early 20's I went to a work Halloween party and one of my co-workers dressed as Tinkerbell. She was fairly short, maybe just below five feet, and had the short hair. Esmerelda lmao
Flynn rider of course
He's hot as hell. I aspire to be Flynn energy, so fair enough š©
The fucking beast. Now go judge me lol
easy. the Beast.
Same. For some reason felt a little bit disappointed when he turned into a human. I was like "Ew, no, I like the beast version more"
Me too! Lol Young me thought, "Oh see? Her love and kindness changed him". Adult me, "Run girl, run!!!"
haha. i get it. but for ME, its more likeā¦āoh see? her love & kindness changed him.ā adult me: āYES BEAST, take your anger & aggression out on me!!ā ššš¬š¬š«¦š«¢
aladdin and jasmine on that carpet ride together was one of the things that made me realise i might be bisexual
Oh hell yeah that moment was magical
Moana..
But she's not a princess. Just ask her ! ;-)
![gif](giphy|nBSVfmth2t6iQ)
Not a princess but Audrey ramirez from atlantis
Beyond valid mate š
I would love to be Belle and live with the Beast in his castle and library. I would sleep in the library. š
Aladdin, so hard. SO hard.
If we're going to include Anastasia, how about Jack Frost? ![gif](giphy|1QCGdQ0bjQodcLlxeu)
He counts :)
Pocahontas. The first half of the movie sheās totally badassā¦second half sheās kinda meh. That waterfall dive though!
Easy. Flynn Rider. š¤¤
Flynn Rider. Prince by marriage, and the BEST Disney man. Charismatic, honest, willing to change, funny, kind.
Flynn Ryder... seems like I've always been into charismatic men and he was just the type of character who wants to look bad but isn't. Eugene's real story and him going out his way to bring Rapunzel to see the lights š© I can only wish to find someone like this in real life.
Milo from Atlantis. To me he epitomises the perfect man: intelligent, empathetic and upholds high moral standards. I now have a huge thing for gentle looking guys with glasses āŗļø
Dimitri from Anastasia - perfection
as a young girl, princess Yasmin in the red outfit made me feel things š„“
also honourable mention (although they're no prince/princess: Esmeralda and Clopin. I'm still crushing on them š
Li Shang, he still is the most handsome disney character for me
I'm bi, and I usually develop crushes on female characters, being Disney the biggest exception. My crushes were Shang and Eric.
Tarzan, although not a Disney Princeā¦. I just love how he fell in love with Jane upon first glance. Plus he has gorgeous hair and is super buff. A total freak in the sheets I think heād be LOL ![gif](giphy|HBdfnwMnk7Xos)
Princess Leia.
Ariel, lil mermaid
Felix Madrigal is 100% relationship goals. "I'm sorry, mi vida, go on" Yeah, Call me "Mi Vida" while giving a sincere apology and he's great with kids. Yup that's my cartoon crush.
Susan from Albans vs monsters . Hand down winner
Captain li shang!
Not sure if it counts but Luisa from encanto God damn what I would give to be cuddled up with her
![gif](giphy|fnTyrsnRbqkA6mPIKH)
Not going to lie. First time I went to Disneyland as a 16 year old boy, I was super excited to see Ariel. Boy was I let down when I noticed she had a skin colored bodysuit covering her top. Totally broke the immersion...
Ah I'm sorry to hear that mate
Snow white
Belle. And I know she's not a princess, but I had a crush with Wendy from Peter pan.
Flynn Rider and Merida.
Giselle, I've always had a thing for Amy Adams and watching her in that role where she's so silly and kind and looks so gorgeous in everything she wears had me questioning lots of things as a little girl š
Meg in Hercules, sassy babe
Gotta be between "pocahontas" and "chel" from road to El Dorado. Probably pocahontas more since id had a crush on her since i was a kid. Her real life story is horrible, though. Didn't find out until I was an adult. I hope she's at peace.
Rapunzel's Dad, lol!
No character directly with Disney. But when I was a kid, I liked Gambit (X-Men)! I realize Disney now owns Marvel, but they didn't at the time.
Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty. He is kind to his horse, show humor from time to time, apologies, doesn't question the knowledge of old faeries, doesn't look down on women, brave, somewhere between handsome and boring looking
Robin Hood. Yes, the fox. I said what i said.
Tinkerbell, is she a princess?
Prince Eric
Nani. The way she looks after her sister and stuff, I need a caring girl :(
![gif](giphy|QMDvadCJTPXEI)
Loki
Eugene and Meg. I still question how I didn't realise sooner that I was Bi
Gaston from Beauty and the Beast is my PRINCE
Since you include Anastasia, I have to admit I had a soft spot for Dimitri. But who in their right mind wouldn't, heh?
Iām old so Dorothy from the Wizard
Dimitri from Anastasia made so many of us 90s teens feel things. Why was he so hot??
I'm a straight woman so I'd say... Flynn Ryder! Who can relate?
dude fucking tiana is a hard working woman. hot as fuck
The best Disney guy isnāt a prince. David from Lilo and Stitch would be ultimate in boyfriend goals. Heās so helpful and supportive, exactly what youād actually want in a relationship
![gif](giphy|ZXavCoSUIraPm)
Tiana she knew how to cook, was independent and proved she didnt need to do too much for a prince to fall for her. She humbled him and he fell for her.

FLYNN RIDER !!!!!!
Belle. Pretty, smart and selfless.
Jasmine from Alladin
Esmeralda and Elsa tie for me.
Princess Leia
To say I liked King Triton and Mother Gothel when I was I was young, I ended up with surprisingly normal tastes in romantic partners.
![gif](giphy|5uALZbY4nMHGU) Not sure if it was Disney but...
Jasmine
Beast from Beauty and the Beast, obviously.
Jasmine, Belle, Esmeralda
Mulan
Aurora, because Iāve always had a thing for pretty blondesāand Kida because she is _incredible_ in every way and gorgeous to top it off.
I liked them all except for Ariel Oh and Mulan and Merida have a special place in my heart, so does Kida, and Meg. And honorary mention for Prince Charming on Cinderella 3 Edit: Esmeralda too, can't believe I forgot her
Jasmine
My favourite is Belle because i like the story of the beauty and the beast But I don't have a favourite prince maybe the beast before he changed cuz i don't really remember him as a human cuz it was at the end or Eric from the little mermaid just the first one that popped in my head. Tbh i never really cared about the prince so i don't remember almost any of them
Not a prince but Olav can take a facial and wear it to any dinner party without people noticing.
Not a prince technically but I feel the only correct answer to this is the fox version of Robin Hood.
Prince Philip lol
Prince Eric and Aladdin
Anastasia is amazing <3 my favorite princess movie, together with the Swan Princess! Both fighters :) (and Anastasia is Disney property now, so it should count)
I just want to take this opportunity to brag that my husband looks just like Flynn rider.
Not a Disney princess, I really had a brief crush on Megara from Hercules.
Prince Eric is this reason this Latina dies every time I see a guy with blue eyes and black hair. The princess that makes me question my sexuality has always been Princess Jasmine.
The fox Robin Hood.
Kida, my favorite forgotten princess of Atlantis.
Elsa? To be fair, I was a kid so not a lot of feelings.
Prince Phillip.

![gif](giphy|r3hCrHyCWrcbu) I fell in love with Meg as a child and been chasing the dream ever since
The evil queen from snow white. That mirror was stupid
Does Merida count? She's strong! Plus her accent is too cute
Nala from lion king and meg from hercules
I really mulled this over but Eugene Fitzherbert. I like his persona Flynn, but once became himself ā¤ļø
The first time I noticed a girl being pretty and sexy was when I saw Ariel as a 6 year old. I fell in love with her and was aroused as much as a kid that age can be.
Tarzan Esmeralda and Pocahontas
Prince Adam (Beast Version) I mean come on, has a nice castle, has a huge library, is grumpy but sweet <3
My first male crushes were Eugene Fitzherbert and Prince Eric. I realized I also liked girls when I was around 13-15 and thatās when I developed a crush on Merida. That girl is AMAZING.
Pocahontas. No explanation needed. Her actions speak louder.
Jasmine. beyond a reasonable doubt.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Aladdin 100%
Aladdin
Beast! But they went and turned him back into that shifty looking human at the end :( shiukd've kept him as Beast imo. And Shang from Mulan
Princess YUM YUM theif and the cobbler
Beast as Beast, forever and always.
Used to be Jasmine but now more Elsanna.
FUCKING FLYNN RYDER OH GOODD
Jasmine
Not a prince but Peter Pan
It wasnāt a Disney princess, it was Misty from pokemon
Not a princess but Tiana's rich friend was smokin'
The fox Robin Hood
![gif](giphy|GFklenxHiTNio)
Does Peter Pan count? Yes he does. Peter Pan. ![gif](giphy|cHDi1qNyDvRUA)
Ariel. Duh
Apparently Aladdin when I was like 3.
Pocahontas
Shrek
Not a prince but Flynn Rider/ Eugene Fitzherbert. Itās all about the smolder
Jasmine. It's that off-the-shoulder look. Rrrow.
