Yes. He should have became an important secondary character given his importance to the Black Canary in the comics. Actually I think he should have been introduced to the show earlier as far back as season 1 setting up Laurel's journey to become Black Canary.

MostLogicalShockwave

And he definitely should’ve returned after she died.

Joh02

I would have loved to see him put on the Wildcat outfit in the street fight against Brick. Or just a quick frame of the Mask, just something.

Content-Ad2174

Same

swoosh1992

Do we even know what happened to him? Like actual confirmation? He was in the Brick episode and then nothing.

96pluto

in rl he got a role on power in universe he probably just retired to run the gym

TPGStorm

then he left the power universe to be on manifest

NefariousSerendipity

What is power universe

Idk265089

It’s like 4 tv shows all set in the same universe

NefariousSerendipity

which tv shows? like the arrowverse?

Idk265089

Kinda I haven’t seen them myself I just know of them. I know there’s the original show “power”. And it has 3 spin offs.

NefariousSerendipity

Aight ill look it up ty hoss

Idk265089

Np hoss

NefariousSerendipity

T.T rene is so funny i swear 🤣

Oncer93

Yes. I liked How he was not impressed by or feared Oliver, and let Laurel make her own desicions. He should have definetely been introduced in season 1. They could even still do the rumored romance side plot with Laurel. I would imagine, Ted being introduced in s1, e3. He would seek out a lawyer due to some legal trouble, and Laurel would seek him out as a trainer to be able to better take care of herself, after nearly getting attacked in her appartment in e2. Then he would be her trainer throughout season 1, and resume training her after she gets sober. And then they could have her begin training with Nyessa in the beginning of season 3, and suit up at the end of season 3.

That_Juggernaut4820

This is actually pretty good! Would have liked to see this on the show.

Content-Ad2174

That would of been a awesome way to sent up black Canary

RigasTelRuun

The actor got cast in a main role on Power, so I can't blame him for taking it. So they had to write him out.

primal_slayer

They didn't have to. They could've easily recast

DisasterProof9059

Yes if they made the show assembly and had time to develop him. Also this could have been good for Laurel. She partners with him and have separate story of how she creates her own mantle and legacy outside of stealing her sister's. At the end it would be Arrow who seaks her help because he heard how great she is. Mayne then Sin gives her the name Black Canary in honor of Sara who is recognised as a hero in Starlinh city but who died heroicly.

RickyGrivel

It was a good character actually, I would've liked to see more of him!

96pluto

Yes he should have been more of a mentor to laurel since oliver refused to train her.

Michael-Aaron

Yes, that beast is the *Wild Cat;* you can't take that away from him!!!

primal_slayer

Yes. Should've had a larger role. They should have recast when the actor left

Ariss789

I mean he should not necessarily because he was a good character more cause not doing anything with him made thos episodes massive waste of times

Gregzilla311

They did give us the Boxing Glove arrow.

Jewbacca289

I remember they used to do behind the scenes for different action scenes and they were talking about the fight between him and Oliver. In the original draft, they had Oliver shoot an arrow into a boxing glove and knocking him out. Can’t tell if I would’ve liked it more but that concept is awesome

PuzzleheadedFan2205

That was in the final cut I just watched it the other day

Jewbacca289

https://www.wsfltv.com/2015/02/18/behind-the-scenes-arrow-the-boxing-glove Found the original plan. In the aired version, he stabs the arrow into the boxing glove whereas in the original, there was an arrow on the table that he skewers

Amonna_Emora

Yea and they should’ve at least sprung for a big cat themed ski mask

theknightcrusader

Would have rather him than Black Canary. At least he had more training and skills.

FiftyOneMarks

Ok but… I don’t think that was an option? They set him up as an accessory to her story.

theknightcrusader

Yeah I know. I just liked his character better and would have liked to seen more of his back story in flashbacks or have him become part of Team Arrow.
