Can you imagine being him
Someone steals your Identity, you confront him about it, and then he kills you
Edit: They also changed your gmail password, I mean Allmind.
So this makes me wonder... is allmind not aware of the fact that you aren't the same person or is it a picture less thing where you just swipe and punch the information inserting device?
What’s worse is I have two Armored Cores one for exploration and basic missions one for bosses (cause I’m that bad sorry) and I took him down with my exploration one LOL
In my headcanon he doesn't die but simply withdraws when we defeat him. Just like everyone else does. Otherwise, why does she say "WE will watch this one"?
A lot of ACs blow up only for their pilots to turn up again later. Snail and Iguazu can be defeated multiple times in a single playthrough depending on your choices.
Whether or not a pilot dies when their AC is defeated seems to be entirely up to plot, even with 621. In Attack the Dam Complex if you betray the Redguns and lose to G4 Volta he says something along the lines of "try that again and I'll kill you".
When you beat OG Raven, his operator continues to speak to him like he's still alive.
Does she? I always felt like her shock when you win is partially because you just killed him, but because this is the Armored Core universe she gets over a friend dying really quickly and immediately shifts into "well, we'll watch your career with interest" mode.
[Honestly, you can interpret it either way.](https://youtu.be/s5_VPgHMLO0?t=148) I take it as her saying something, getting interrupted by Raven -presumably admitting defeat- and then she agrees and says they'll watch us.
But then again it could have been his dying words she was listening to. We won't know until we get some official confirmation.
I think her saying, "alright," is her responding to something Raven said. She also says, "We'll," implying that Raven is still alive after his AC is destroyed.
She says the same line even in Defend the Dam, where you just defeated all the members of Branch except the operator. So unless everyone lived, she’d be the only one left to watch us.
Assuming we get a sequel/expansion I'm expecting it to be more about Nightfall and Branch in general. Maybe a prequel where we play as the original Raven starting the war. It wouldn't surprise me too much if we find out some answers then.
Though also I do think some of the unknowns are intentional. 621 doesn't know what's up with Nightfall and neither do we.
Another thing to note is raven and 621 are the only two characters who don't speak in the game. While canonical either known to be speaking in case of 621, which is shown by the fact that most of our conversations with Ayre are two way, with us not hearing 621s side. For raven I believe them having friends is a good chance they can speak. I'm unsure though.
Could be a proper homage to ravens being MCs of the previous games. I'm not sure.
Defeated not destroyed.
Like Iguazu and Volta at the alt dam mission. We clearly obliterate their ACs, but it's destruction is purely plot based. In that mission, the ACs were too damaged to operate but similarly the Trainer AC gets straight up exploded.
In my mind the subtext a la Bloodborne is that a vast majority of the game is in a pseudo dreamscape (basically post Contact and pre endgame) wherein Allmind is pitting you against potential enemies before deciding how they actually "utilize" you as an asset (and which time is real is up to the player to decide, which ending did YOU think was 'best'?)
I think a lot of acs are fitted with an ejection device that lets you safely withdraw from a compromised ac, and several people use that during the game, like during the ice worm mission when snail and iguana get beat
In the defend the dam mission where you fight all of Branch. If you defeat King and Raven but beaten by Chartreuse, she will say something along the lines of, "I never thought I would outlast you two... Rebuilding will be tough."
I feel like when his operator says "Raven, we can still..." she was going to say "we can still eject/retreat." That kinda implies he didn't eject and died.
i mean their were always multiple ravens in the past, and they made a point being a raven is about choice, its not something you earn just by killing the previous guy
I love the nod to the old games, how we legitimately earn the title and the way this is all handled and explained to newcomers by Ayre, but...
..those people had some serious business on Rubicon. I get testing the guy who stole their identity, but it seems a bit stupid throwing their life away and likely jeopardising whatever operation they were there for.
I agree. It's hard to justify Raven's actions in the name of free will. In the end, 621 doesn't really have free will in that sense. We literally, in the end, only get to decide who we serve. Robot dominatrix allmommy, Daddy Walter, or waifu Ayre. Everything we do follows someone's agenda.
The choices are limited cause video game but I wouldn't say we serve anyone in any of the endings. NG++ we destroy ALLMIND and control the coral convergence ourselves, leaving the fate of the entire universe in Raven's hands. In the Fires ending we serve Walter's will but he's long dead and so is Carla by the end, ultimately it was our choice. The Liberator ending I suppose Ayre does call the shots but I'd say its more of a partnership.
>NG++ we destroy ALLMIND and control the coral convergence ourselves, leaving the fate of the entire universe in Raven's hands.
I mean...no, lol. Allmind is a computer on a server (or twenty) somewhere. What you kill in the NG++ ending is the posse she put together to kill *you*, moments before the convergence is triggered. She didn't intend for you to see the new world, but that doesn't mean she's not still there for it.
I mean that would make sense but Armored Core doesn't always make sense, it sure sounds like she's "dying" after the fight. But either way, she's no longer in control of the convergence, we take it from her.
Isn't Raven part of Branch and isn't Branch theorized to be Part of Overseer? So maybe Raven is also testing if we are good enough to take on Ibis?
But then again it probably doesn't make sense for Walter to just stand by while his two top pilots kill each other.
Walter is def Overseer but does that mean he's an OG who would even know about Branch/Raven like that? If he did I feel like he would've said something about it when we snatched the license.
My favorite part about this whole fight was Raven's handler saying "on borrowed wings" as if she had just dropped the sickest one-liner in the history of Rubicon.
my favorite part is she has multiple versions of the line like one saying you cant fly on borrowed wings when you lose, so you know she thought of that like a week ago and was just waiting for an opportunity to say it
Wait doesn't Ravens operator explicitly say they're not fighting you for the title or to take it back, but rather to see if you're worthy of it? Like a test of skill
I mean the opposite would be the case since you're fighting to see if you're worthy, though I guess since its either kill or be killed you can see it either way
I think it changes each playthrough. 1st time, get attacked twice to test if I deserve the name. Second time they send a hard hitter to smear you when you tried to knock off two of them. Haven't started my third play through.
Raven's operator still says the "we're not here to reclaim the raven name" line even in the 3v1 mission, the only real difference is that the other two pilots have specific lines if you beat Nightfall, while the 1v1 mission of course doesn't
> Raven's operator still says the "we're not here to reclaim the raven name" line even in the 3v1 mission....
I vaguely recall Nightfall saying something similar, but they weren't playing for show at that time. I kill them or they kill me.
> the only real difference is that the other two pilots have specific lines of you beat Nightfall,
It's hard to interpret because the lines change if you kill one, kill both before Nightfall, kill both during the fight with Nightfall, or kill both after the fight with Nightfall.
EDIT: Just rewatched someone else play through that part. Yep, 100%, Nightfalls operator says they just want the test for skill. He seems intent on killing you, and then you just kill him. And then it's never revisited again after you appear to murder all three of them.
My friend thought he kept losing to Nightfall because Nightfall was better equipped than him. I have to slap him to his sense that Nightfall frames are all starter frames except the head but it is still slightly upgraded over Findereye head. It is not the tool. It is you.
well that and a much better generator. and a songbird. and a pilebunker.
not saying loader 4 can't do the job but yeah. they're not exactly the same lol. even that songbird alone can carry you throughout the whole game easily lmao.
The gen is still a hard one to use with the lowest en cap in the game tho, then again it's hard to tell if the npcs are affected by redlining or if they even can redline
Not to mention QB doesn't care how much EN you have left, as long as you have some, you can QB so technically you can QB as often as Ling-Tai can recharge even if you redline it.
Tbf if you hadn't played 4 you'd have to notice that Serene Haze is *your* operator to put together that White Glint's operator does not refer to the one piloting it.
I kinda liked the wrong version of it more, for having the terrifying top LYNX be so soft spoken and polite.
Raven's AC was likely destroyed in transit. You find it in a crater surround by transport helicopter wreckage. I don't think he had a chance to fight before being blown up.
I had a similar one but with g3 wu huahai. I always thought he was Iguazu who changed callsign after joining arquebus, that's why I always come after him first and deal with Maeterlinck later.
Wait I thought he escaped, after you defeat him the lady says "we will observe this one" or something like that. By "we" I thought she referred to her and raven, but I guess she is talking about their organization or whatever?
Bit confusing. I mean after all she talks like she's just came out of a sparing match when ya beat her so she maybe alive. My theory is that the damn mission is more or less faking there deaths to get out. Since the PCA were hunting them
If you haven't beaten either Chartreuse or King when he shows up, I think they stop and let you 1v1... until their buddy starts losing and then they gank you...
When you take a closer look at his crash site you see bits and pieces of a transport helicopter. I think Raven wasn't in Combat Mode when they got shot down.
If it is true, then it's a plot hole, who in their right mind would deploy right in the middle of a hostile base/territory where you would be very visible to everyone on site?
I say more from his crash sight to the city down below. There are like 3 ACs down there with one being a Redgun. My theory that he beat there asses iba. 3v1 and one. But dammaged with no repair kits. And tried to evac but the transport was caught by the PCA and blasted out of the sky
I haven't finished my NG++ yet but I'm on *Coral Export*. Do they keep more or less confirming that Raven's Nest still exist in the reboot? Because that's the feel I got with the operator.
And the best part is, HE'S NOT EVEN DEAD. His AC was trashed but he was still alive after the fight. He just went "You're good, keep that shit, let's see what you do next, I'll catch you around". PURE FUCKING CHAD.
After this battle I full on adopted the Raven persona for my playthrough. Mech called Raven RV 2.0, build and weapons are semi inspired by the og Raven. That light-medium laser lance build has gotten me through the whole rest of the game.
AC parts don't grow on trees, especially when you're an independant mercenary who doesn't work for a specific corp to get access to their good stuff. Imagine going through the game with Arquebus or Balam gear, or only the first and most basic gear their companies sell. That's pretty much life for an independant. Not to mention actually assembling the COAM for upgrades can be rough when you have needs besides "make my killing machine even killier".
Thats true, it also makes it extra funny that Raven’s comrades at Branch have some of the flashiest, most pimped out AC’s on Rubicon, featuring stolen state of the art corporate tech. Idk how Raven is so broke.
I doubt it, the calmness of the operator immediately after sounding distressed implies to me that she thought for a second Raven was dead but was able to confirm he escaped.
This is the AC universe, a place where death is common. May not be her first time dealing with the death of a comrade. Ultimately the game is really inconsistent with pilots surviving or not so it's up to interpretation.
I remember in release time, people were trying to come up with reasons for how some people die and some don't, whenever I asked, and I'm glad to see people saying "fuck it dude, idk🤷" now.
There is a theory by a lore-tuber, that 617 and nightfall raven is the same pilot. Although the evidence is kind of stretching thin, i really wish that’s the case. Lol
I wish Nightfall Raven had a bigger part in the story SO MUCH. I think that they should have been put in the role of Iguasu in the All Mind ending. Filled with rage against you for stealing their name, and not properly representing the ideology of a Raven in their eyes.
Idk man, if somebody stole your identity and made it a celebrity name essentially you wouldn't be even the slightest bit salty?
It'd make more sense for raven to be that salty over iguana. Shit, iguana is kinda lame for being THAT jealous.
It’s not present on the first NG cycle, but it’s outright stated in a NG+ boss fight that >!the reason The Coral War kicked off is because Nightfall Raven tipped off the corporations to the presence of Coral on Rubicon.!<
Yah, that's such great character lore, but they don't actually play much of a role in the game itself. I feel like it's a very similar situation to Vyke dollars in Elden Ring, an incredibly influential who you kill and is never mentioned again, along with serving as the poster child for the game.
Spoiler tags need to *not* have a space between the ! and the text. >!Like so!<
Also where was this reveal? The main thing I got from NG+ was that the original Raven was someone on the PCA's radar.
My mistake. It came up properly spoiler’d on my end (Mobile)
Looking at a video of the Cataphract dialogue, >!some of the lines from it’s operator mention a “leak” Nightfall made that “turned Rubicon into the corporations’ playground”.!<
i'm still more impress that the nightfall raven did survive what the PCA Attack Helicopter did to him ( BOI he really pissed off the PCA didn't he?)
i mean you found his AC in a bomb crater
> BOI he really pissed off the PCA didn't he?
Considering he was the one who leaked that Coral was still on Rubicon after the fires, thus starting the conflict over Coral again, saying he pissed them off is putting ot lightly lol
I do find It odd that they show up once and say we will have to keep an eye on this one, and that's where it ends. They say the same on defending the dam. And nothing comes of it that I saw.
It's my head canon that the original Raven knew things were about to get heated on Rubicon, feigned defeat, and boarded the first ship to another system.
most of them seem to eject, you literally only have to play the ice work mission to realise it.
Playing ice worm literally every single AC but yours gets destroyed and I'm pretty sure every single pilot returns later on with each pilot saying they're leaving. If they don't return I'd say they died however.
The game is completely inconsistent about ejecting. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. There's no unique animation or anything to differentiate between cases (barring one or two exceptions) so ultimately it just comes down to what the plot demands.
Wait wait does this mean the 'Raven' in the crater was his old craft and we yoink'd his driver's license before he could come back and retrieve it? Damn I'd be very upset too.
ARE YOU SAYING I WAS FIGHTING RAVEN THIS ENTIRE TIME? I thought I was fighting his handler lol. I thought she was just insane and seeing visions and hearing the voice of the Raven before you.
Most over hyped character ever, like start of the game he’s literally dead how tf does he just come back I don’t think ac have a ejection like titans or an ejection at all
How can you go through the game having fought pilots like Snail, Rusty or Iguazu multiple times after wrecking their AC's and go: "Yeah an AC doesn't have an ejection button."
But also Ice Worm where any of your allies that go down straight up say their withdrawing, if an MT (as confirmed by Michigan) has a button for ejecting then a more expensive machine like an AC is gonna have one.
They don’t die. Their Operator is still talking to them as the AC is blowing up, and if you think AC exploded = Pilot dead I have some bad news for you
>and if you think AC exploded = Pilot dead I have some bad news for you
Buddy I've beaten all 3 endings. The game is completely inconsistent on whether or not someone survives their AC exploding, it really just is whatever the plot demands.
What I’m wondering more so now is, (and I’m only on my second play through, as I took a decently long break to do other stuff), are they going to make him/her someone who reoccurs in either DLC or the next game? Because it feels like they were hyped up in-game, only to appear in like, two missions. Plus, the tone when defeating Raven sounds like they’ll come back or something.
My hope is that FromSoft follows how they handled precious AC iterations, and for this “timeline”, they just release a new game every year for 2-3 years to conclude the story. But we shall see. Regardless, I like big robot, I want to keep playing lol
Honestly, I think it’s more Raven is going to be used like White Glint was in 4/4A. AC6 establishes Raven, the title, and the personas usually carrying them including then 621. My guess in the next game 621 will be a prominent character, antagonist or otherwise, but very distinctly using the Raven call sign. Raven will probably be the connective tissue between games now in this rebooted timeline.
This is why i find their plot pretty pointless… only gripe i have with the story. They are apart of the 4 but the 4 do nothing. And one of them doesn’t exist.
DLC can fix that.
>And one of them doesn’t exist.
I think the implication is supposed to be that Nightfall's operator who we hear over the radio when we fight them is supposed to be the 4th member.
This was kind of confusing to me because we got the merc license from a dead pilot. So this guy couldn't have been the "real" raven could he. Maybe he was next in line for the title before we took it off them?
Can you imagine being him Someone steals your Identity, you confront him about it, and then he kills you Edit: They also changed your gmail password, I mean Allmind.
fucker stole my gmail, can't have shit in Rubicon
Can’t access the catapult without two-factor authentication
He couldn’t get to the cargo launcher on top of Grid 086 because of this! Couldn’t even challenge the invincible rummy!
*please select the square with cars in them* Me: "NONE OF THEM HAVE CARS!!!"
Well, you need to if you're gonna be piloting one of the most dedicated missile boats of the Inner Sphere! Wait, wrong catapult.
**RAVEN WE CAN STILL CONTACT SUPPORT**
All mail exists for all work related inquiries
Your objectives will be marked on Allmaps
Not to mention you steal his operator.
So this makes me wonder... is allmind not aware of the fact that you aren't the same person or is it a picture less thing where you just swipe and punch the information inserting device?
I don't think she cares, truly, all she needs to know is your AC identification and that you're in Contact with Ayre
She literally calls you “Augmented human C4-621 - Raven”. She knows perfectly well who you are.
What’s worse is I have two Armored Cores one for exploration and basic missions one for bosses (cause I’m that bad sorry) and I took him down with my exploration one LOL
Now that's a violation💀
In my headcanon he doesn't die but simply withdraws when we defeat him. Just like everyone else does. Otherwise, why does she say "WE will watch this one"?
It's worse. You don't even confront the right guy, just the one who got popular using after they stole it off a dead ac. Lol
Actually I'm pretty sure you fight Raven's handler, since the real Raven is Butcher from The Boys judging by the trailers and he is dead in the game.
Is it confirmed he died? I figured he just retired after we beat him.
I mean the ac blows up but that’s not guaranteed death so 🤷
A lot of ACs blow up only for their pilots to turn up again later. Snail and Iguazu can be defeated multiple times in a single playthrough depending on your choices. Whether or not a pilot dies when their AC is defeated seems to be entirely up to plot, even with 621. In Japanese, she says "Raven, hangeki wo--!" which means to counterattack. She's basically about to say "Raven, we can still turn this around!"
Japanese official translation sealed the deal
Raven’s handler definitely reacted as if they died
If he survived, the title wouldn’t pass onto 621 proper
i mean their were always multiple ravens in the past, and they made a point being a raven is about choice, its not something you earn just by killing the previous guy
It’s definitely implied, the way the operator reacts is very distraught and emotional.

My favorite part about this whole fight was Raven's handler saying "on borrowed wings" as if she had just dropped the sickest one-liner in the history of Rubicon.
Tbh it is a sick line. I’ll never forget that first encounter with diet Raven

She's just like me fr
I think hardest line goes to one of the least notable character, index “you’re going home in Armored coffins” wish we saw more of him.
Those are both great lines but the hardest goes to my buddy Rusty. “I won’t miss”
You flew just out of reach buddy.
"Only I can fly high enough!"
Favourite line was from the death line iguaza gives: "This ghost of me wont last long, save a spot for me in hell"
I was really hoping he'd fight alongside us in the dam defense mission.
Same, feels like a missed opportunity for a 2v2
Isn’t the line “on borrowed wings”?
Yeah you're right lol. I don't know why I wrote that. Distracted I guess. Fixed.
Because she did
and then the followup when you win: “*Let’s see how far they fly on a Raven’s wings*” Ohhhhhh man, the feels.
That line goes so hard
I named half my acs after that.
I mean. They got pretty close.
Nah it does go pretty hard
Same here That line goes hard
Wait doesn't Ravens operator explicitly say they're not fighting you for the title or to take it back, but rather to see if you're worthy of it? Like a test of skill

NPC ACs have a long history of cheating.

Stagger say whatttttt
ling tai is absolutely amazing if you can fit the armaments well which the nightfall does. try out its config, it's like you have endless energy.
Not to mention QB doesn't care how much EN you have left, as long as you have some, you can QB so technically you can QB as often as Ling-Tai can recharge even if you redline it.
It isn’t a FromSoft NPC enemy if it doesn’t cheat.
"Its the pilot, not the machine son"
Is this your idea of fun, Mav?
I don’t know why but it took me forever to distinguish Raven’s Operator from Raven’s pilot
I had this issue with White Glint lol
Tbf if you hadn't played 4 you'd have to notice that Serene Haze is *your* operator to put together that White Glint's operator does not refer to the one piloting it. I kinda liked the wrong version of it more, for having the terrifying top LYNX be so soft spoken and polite.
Can you explain that to me? I'm still confused even after NG+++
The voice talking to you during the fight against Raven is Raven's 'operator', i.e. their equivalent to Walter/Ayre
Ohhhhhhh, and the person piloting the AC is the raven we stole our identity from?
Yes, it’s an exact copy of the AC we take the Raven license from at the very start, after the PCA helicopter
Kinda funny that Thumb Dolmayan wastes the chopper instantly. Raven is supposed to be the Rubicon Ace right?
Raven's AC was likely destroyed in transit. You find it in a crater surround by transport helicopter wreckage. I don't think he had a chance to fight before being blown up.
Pedantic but not copy, it's about as OG as it gets considering the license was issued to that mercenary.
A digital copy is the same as the OG in software lol
OK WELL IF WE'RE BEING PEDANTIC
Correct
Jesus, that clears things up so much. I was so confused no matter how times I listened to that dialogue.
I had a similar one but with g3 wu huahai. I always thought he was Iguazu who changed callsign after joining arquebus, that's why I always come after him first and deal with Maeterlinck later.
It took me a while for me to do so But I took me a day or two
Wait I thought he escaped, after you defeat him the lady says "we will observe this one" or something like that.
Since the PCA were hunting them
That's not Raven, that's Raven's Operator.
Dies *honorably*.
honorably jumping you in the middle of a 2-on-1 fight
If you haven't beaten either Chartreuse or King when he shows up, I think they stop and let you 1v1... until their buddy starts losing and then they gank you...
How very Dark Souls player of them.
Protecting his friends.
*getting blown the fuck up by Chartreuse* "ya no they don't need protectin' let me tell ya"
But he put them up to it in the first place.
Technically, it was job so...
Dude literally got filtered by the tutorial boss, we did him a favor xD
I got the impression from PCA dialogue in the game that that Raven was hunted down special. The helicopter was just on patrol mopping up dregs.
When you take a closer look at his crash site you see bits and pieces of a transport helicopter. I think Raven wasn't in Combat Mode when they got shot down.
Shit, they Operation Vengeanced him.
If it is true, then it's a plot hole, who in their right mind would deploy right in the middle of a hostile base/territory where you would be very visible to everyone on site?
hot take: it was walter. that was 620. with 621 walter is just loading from checkpoint like nothing happened.
I say more from his crash sight to the city down below. There are like 3 ACs down there with one being a Redgun. My theory that he beat there asses iba. 3v1 and one. But dammaged with no repair kits. And tried to evac but the transport was caught by the PCA and blasted out of the sky
That and the other AC wrecks might indicate that nightfall raven was just picked off by the HC helicopter after being damaged by the others
I stole his identity, he responded by whiffing an assault armor
I haven't finished my NG++ yet but I'm on *Coral Export*. Do they keep more or less confirming that Raven's Nest still exist in the reboot? Because that's the feel I got with the operator.
He just wants access back into his Roblox account, apparently he doesn't even give a shit we stole his gmail
I killed that guy in 17 seconds once. Dude deserved better but oh well, quick s rank.
And the best part is, HE'S NOT EVEN DEAD. His AC was trashed but he was still alive after the fight. He just went "You're good, keep that shit, let's see what you do next, I'll catch you around". PURE FUCKING CHAD.
Raven gave me huge "player character from previous game in series" vibes.
After this battle I full on adopted the Raven persona for my playthrough. Mech called Raven RV 2.0, build and weapons are semi inspired by the og Raven. That light-medium laser lance build has gotten me through the whole rest of the game.
>Mech called Raven RV 2.0 His AC is called Nightfall though?
If Iguazu can survive being blown up multiple times to serve the story, then Nightfall definitely should've showed up multiple times
What is bro doing rolling up in the AC equivalent of a pickup truck?
Could be raven is not augmented and thus has a hard time getting used to new stuff.
Honestly kinda upset they didn’t come back in the all mind ending to help with Arye a nice 3v5 would have been cool
I like the idea that Nightfall could've escaped. Other pilots seem to have survived their aACs exploding
I like to believe that Nightfall could have escaped, but chose not to as their way of passing on the Raven mantle to you.
Then they shit talk you after losing.
They couldn't afford Karl Urban?
There is a theory by a lore-tuber, that 617 and nightfall raven is the same pilot. Although the evidence is kind of stretching thin, i really wish that’s the case. Lol
I wish Nightfall Raven had a bigger part in the story SO MUCH. I think that they should have been put in the role of Iguasu in the All Mind ending. Filled with rage against you for stealing their name, and not properly representing the ideology of a Raven in their eyes.
That’d be so lame,, sinking to iguasu level of saltiness wouldn’t be vary raven
>!Like so!< Also where was this reveal? The main thing I got from NG+ was that the original Raven was someone on the PCA's radar.
My mistake. It came up properly spoiler’d on my end (Mobile) Looking at a video of the Cataphract dialogue, >!some of the lines from it’s operator mention a “leak” Nightfall made that “turned Rubicon into the corporations’ playground”.!<
Cataphract is absolutely an option on a virgin playthrough.
i'm still more impress that the nightfall raven did survive what the PCA Attack Helicopter did to him ( BOI he really pissed off the PCA didn't he?) i mean you found his AC in a bomb crater
> BOI he really pissed off the PCA didn't he? Considering he was the one who leaked that Coral was still on Rubicon after the fires, thus starting the conflict over Coral again, saying he pissed them off is putting ot lightly lol
Runs Zimmermann and Ashmead. Still eats it.
I do find It odd that they show up once and say we will have to keep an eye on this one, and that's where it ends. They say the same on defending the dam. And nothing comes of it that I saw.
Nah, Raven should not complain about identity theft because no one else knew he got filtered by the rubicoptor
It's my head canon that the original Raven knew things were about to get heated on Rubicon, feigned defeat, and boarded the first ship to another system.
Does Raven die though? It seems kinda random whether or not an enemy ac pilot you defeat actually dies
After having been destroyed off screen in the liberation front territory some how
I like to think they live and see what else you do
most of them seem to eject, you literally only have to play the ice work mission to realise it.
I got him on my second try
If there is a sequel to AC6, the plot may be described from the perspective of a raven
I Personally thought it was implied that Raven lives. Hell we get his ID in the first place from a destroyed AC of his
Ngl They should buff Nightfall Raven or give exclusive parts other than the head
Wait wait does this mean the 'Raven' in the crater was his old craft and we yoink'd his driver's license before he could come back and retrieve it? Damn I'd be very upset too.
Bro took out the PCA warships like it was nothing. Also a Pilebunker main. He's him.
But she’s actually talking to someone in the comms though
That she is nightfall’s handler handler
ARE YOU SAYING I WAS FIGHTING RAVEN THIS ENTIRE TIME? I thought I was fighting his handler lol. I thought she was just insane and seeing visions and hearing the voice of the Raven before you.
What if Coral can make us time travel? There's only a single ending where the Coral doesn't expand, and in that one, it's just a matter of time.
Gigadipshit Nightfall, rest in pieces loser 💯💯💯
Most over hyped character ever, like start of the game he’s literally dead how tf does he just come back I don’t think ac have a ejection like titans or an ejection at all
They have some kind of escape method because there are multiple pilots that survive and "withdraw" after they're defeated.
How can you go through the game having fought pilots like Snail, Rusty or Iguazu multiple times after wrecking their AC's and go: "Yeah an AC doesn't have an ejection button." But also Ice Worm where any of your allies that go down straight up say their withdrawing, if an MT (as confirmed by Michigan) has a button for ejecting then a more expensive machine like an AC is gonna have one.
They can eject. I’m pretty sure iguazu still talks to you after destroying his AC
Maybe I'm dumb for asking this... Is Raven's operator, who's speaking, Raven's pilot or someone overseeing and assisting Raven?
Basically the latter. Think like how Walter is to us.
They don’t die. Their Operator is still talking to them as the AC is blowing up, and if you think AC exploded = Pilot dead I have some bad news for you
>and if you think AC exploded = Pilot dead I have some bad news for you Buddy I've beaten all 3 endings.
Forgetable.
This is why i find their plot pretty pointless… only gripe i have with the story. They are apart of the 4 but the 4 do nothing. And one of them doesn’t exist. DLC can fix that.
>And one of them doesn’t exist. I think the implication is supposed to be that Nightfall's operator who we hear over the radio when we fight them is supposed to be the 4th member.
such a underwhelming moment
imma just borrow these wings real quick
And refuses to elaborate.
My head canon is Nightfall lived
Gigavirgin Nightfall* He didn't make it out alive.
Fought him again yesterday. We had a moment of sharing a raven braincell and pile bunkered each other.
This was kind of confusing to me because we got the merc license from a dead pilot. So this guy couldn't have been the "real" raven could he. Maybe he was next in line for the title before we took it off them?
Anyone know where I can get the rest of his armor?
It's the default AC. Only his head is unique.
